Surfacing trauma
Today's combination, and many other days' combinations, can have different readings. What I write here is not the absolute reading of what the energy could bring, rather, just a piece of inspiration brough by it. A Wakib Imox combination does point out to something regarding health. Since yesterday I begun getting the message of what today's message would look like. An image showed in my head as I was waiting for a cab under the blazing sun. A crocodile sticking its eyes above the water, surfacing. The conversation with my dance godmother, one of the wisest beings I know whom I had just visited, was about her being over the drama. Everyone seems to be drowning in it, and what is the point.
The cab took us and all of our dance gear to Mayra's family house, in Huatusco. Before going inside I took a leak in the hill looking at the deforesting forest in front, and that made me wonder about the young ones, of whom apparently I had just learned I no longer belong to. But I do, I was one of them and made the same mistake once, complaining. Being young we demand that the world be made right. We yell and scream when we suffer the painful reality we've been dealt. We bitch at the not so young ones and blame them, not realizing they got the same shit and maybe even worse.
When we are not willing to dive into our past, clean the water and recover the treasures lying at the bottom, then the water will grow stale and kill us. On the other hand, we may never be able to fully cleanse it, and that the gator knows, so he learns to live in the water, just like my godmother has learned to live in peace surrounded by people that are constantly drowning in their own glass of water. If we don't work with our trauma it will surface and scare us from our lives. It's the only real source of disease. If we do, we learn to arrange it, but realize soon enough that we can't clear the whole pond, so we just learn to live in it without drowning.

The crocs in the pond may seem all friendly, we think that they see themselves as friends. On the side up, sky, everything is about love, spirit, it's a thin medium. Today we are in a water medium, with dirt, plants, much thicker. Yesterday becomes today. Love is foolish as seen from a croc's stomach. It's all about hunting, pray, eating, meeting needs. The universe is predatorial, we are taught by the neo toltecs. It makes sense. Having a focus on what brings tangible reward, instead of living in a world of wishful thinking. We follow today's nawal into the murky waters where we may get surprised by a violent bite of another predator's apetite. If you choose to continue to be weak minded, all fluffy ajpuu-like, you will be a good meal for something else. The cosmos does have a purpose and that purpose is swallowed by this earth. This earth is the cosmos' birthchild, its purpose, it's higher in priority than even "god". We as creators have our heads way above that water. Today we must come down and swim. Accompany me into the depths of this research. In the pond the weaker are eaten. Take today's nawal's lesson and find that in you which is weak, and work on that. Find the things that make you weak, and discard them. Forget about love and sensitivity for a second, and take that bite.

It might seem that as the days step further away from 5 Ajpu—the nawal of our inner child—we inevitably grow away from that luminous center. That is the superficial logic of standard progression, a linear rule that passes and becomes obsolete. Yet that logic is flawed. Growing up is not about distancing ourselves from our inner child or dimming our bright sun; quite the contrary, true maturity is learning how to fiercely protect, tend to, and nourish that inner radiance. We need today’s energy—this 6 Imox—as a crucial teaching on what it means to mature so that our light may continue to shine without extinguishing itself.
It is easy to feel overwhelmed by where to begin. Our inner light gazes at every disruption and longs to start over with a clean slate. While that may be possible in unmanifested realms, it is not how life unfolds on this swampy earth. Here, the seed is cast, and if it takes root and germinates, it must learn to rise precisely where it landed—favorable or not. In this primal marsh, every current seems to test you, making it feel as though you are unwelcome. Yet that raw, dense pressure is simply the condition of the womb—whether of the mother or of the Earth itself. It is dark, humid, and vulnerable, designed specifically to build the momentum needed to push you outward and upward into full expression.
A profound Toltec teaching reminds us that whatever is thrown at us—no matter how adverse or threatening it appears—is ultimately an ally for our growth. Today's combination places heavy emphasis on the physical, organic nature of this evolution, revealing that apparent "diseases," discomforts, and emotional hurts are often nothing more than the labor pains of a greater expansion. Contrary to what conventional conditioning preaches, these challenges are non-linear adjustments. Through this circle of medicine, we learn to channel these friction points into vital strength, turning the murky water of the swamp into the fertile soil of our own emergence.
Imox (Dragon) represents the primordial ocean, the fertile swamp, the cosmic womb, deep intuition, the subconscious mind, and the raw, unpatterned essence of creation. Imox is the nawal of the crocodile, secret waters, original madness, artistic inspiration, and the collective memory of the earth. Paired with the stabilizing, organic frequency of the Number 6—the energy of physical balance, natural law, the six directions (North, South, East, West, Above, Below), and the integration of spirit into matter—this sign grounds the chaotic waters of creation into tangible, physical growth.
To embody 6 Imox is to trust the dark, fertile womb of your current circumstances and allow the pressure to forge your strength. Occupying the sixth position of the Ajmaq trecena, this energy asks you to stop resisting the messiness of life and recognize it as the exact soil required for your evolution. Do not fear the swamp or the discomforts of growth. Hold fast to your inner child, honor the organic wisdom of your body, and allow the primal waters of Imox to feed your roots as you rise toward the sun.
Growth.
