Jun Ee – The path of wealth
Economy is everything, in the sense that our whole lives as individuals are shaped around our economic possibilities. It is a structural environment in which we have a certain freedom to move around, to climb higher or lower; there are niches that can be filled and there is fortune—luck—that can be found. But those are […]
The title for Newton’s “laws” of physics begins with the word Philosophy, showing that what we think is a solid unbreakable law, is simply an observation of something we can only describe and wonder about. Much in the same way are the nawals here described and observed in this exercise of daily short readings and […]
Peeling our skin off takes us down to the bare bones; once we get there, it doesn’t hurt anymore—it brings us peace. You should feel the change from the past thirteen days: expectations were high, demand was at its maximum, and we were left burnt out. This burnout took our skin off. With it went […]
Somos seres profundamente sociales.
Humans are profoundly social beings. We were not evolved to live in isolation, stalking the forest alone like the tiger; to be forcibly severed from the collective is our greatest torture. Yet, as the great wheels of time spin, we find ourselves in a volatile era of transition. Our society has been hijacked by the […]
I have always wanted—perhaps not only me—to compile a reference log of what each one of the combinations of the nawals means. In a way, this workshop, daily reading, and trecena reading exercise has been that: a way to write down observations of how the energy manifests and to find patterns that can be tied […]
