The Gate

Reading for the trecena of Jun Tijaax, Se Tekpatl. September 2-14, 2025.

Each new cycle, as it repeats itself, tells a similar, resonant story, but it can also be a very new, and different story. The principle of the concretization of consciousness, happening here through something that remains written, and what you can remember, means that we are in a constant construct. So, a cycle repeating itself doesn’t mean we are in exactly the same place as we were before. In combination with the construct, the repeating cycle of the Cholq’ij is always facing a new configuration in the tropical and sidereal astrologies. Planets are somewhere else, and the Moon and moon days are different, which all together favor a different, new reading.

We want to take strongly into consideration what we have been constructing, the tale we’ve been telling, and weaving. Any mediumistic, divinatory language supports itself on reality and a unique configuration of reality, but also on how this reality is being perceived and handled. Having you here with me means I can take the certainty to continue telling a story that won’t quite be the same for those who have been missing out on the story. There are many cares I must watch out for in telling this story, for it’s supposed to guide and help you, not burden you as it also could have the potential to do. This care I have discovered is achieved by allowing myself to be within the story, but not getting in the way of it, and letting the nawal speak its teaching without me thinking I am the source of it.

The path of medicine of finding ourselves led to the rediscovery, honoring, and sublimation of our needs and wants. Tijax honors the snake that precedes him. Within the snake, the stigma of being predatorial was jettisoned, and with that, the excessive needs. This process of purge continues and grows stronger with this trecena. With the stigma being gone, there is a legacy that is left by the snake that must be remembered. A mark that must be honored, and Tijax will do just that. In the face of a challenge and transformation, our innermost earthly desire, idea, and identity—the necessary part of our ego—must remain strong and must be defended. It’s our story, and we have learned to honor it. Now comes the time to prove this honor with persistent action.

We will be entering a gate, a process, a time that will require greater resilience and strength. Things may seem to grow dark as we enter the gate, and that’s exactly what you want, to go through it, not turn around. Being dark means we can’t see the results from this action, and the process we will be entering is not quite clear. What is clear is that the process will be cleansing us further, taking away everything that is and was wrong, and we will be wise and prosperous in knowing that this is necessary for allowing the harvest we so hardly worked for to come. It may seem that we are coming to a loss, that things are getting more and more complicated, and they are. But this process is shaping us in the necessary ways so that we are stronger and more clear, and so that we can bear that which we want, when we are ready. So far, this reading is good for those who have been working hard, learning, cleansing, and improving. Procrastinators and those seeking entertainment, what’s the point in this for you? If there is sacred work happening in your life, then the reading will manifest as true. I have no reading for those who are just having fun, with no growth or challenge happening.

We will find that in these thirteen days, combined with the required diet of your snake—reduced fun, portions, and pleasure—there will be a lot more work coming, and the work coming will be challenging. There will be a greater strain on the body, on the mind, more wear and tear. We can expect this. If this is already present in your life, a few days before the beginning of this trecena, then that means that your spirit has the capacity to prepare, and you are already gliding through the ice. This means that the trecena might just surprise you with how smooth, quick, easy, and prosperous it goes by. If a decrease of snake and increase of challenge hasn’t manifested in your life yet, then that’s what may catch you starting today, or in the coming days. It will feel slippery, and you may trip. Don’t worry though, if you cross the gate with solid trust, then the ice will be solid, it won’t break. You can slip as much as you want, you will get the hang of skating eventually and reach your destination.

The teaching of this trecena is that there is a treasure laying behind each hardship and challenge you find. Every single one is a gate, a gate into a transformation into a more powerful and loving being. This is the only true wealth you can harvest in this life. Everything else is just snake, necessary to keep the body, but relatively meaningless to the soul. In each challenge, in each event that sparks your anger, or frustration; in each headache and pain the body feels, there is something to learn, something to surmount, a gate that can take us to a greater dimension.
