Go high

Having been low, relieved our desire or suffering, found peace, wisdom, connection with spirit, stillness and the peace of absence and quiet, we now want to elevate. What is it that we really need? Connection to other human beings. That's the only medicine ahead of us. That's the place we must discover as a humanity we want to reach so badly and so needly. No wonder we have been dragged the oposite way, because in gathering and coming together comes the harnessing of our true potential and thus the breakthrough of all barriers, limitations, bads and lacks; as an individual, as a community, as a species and as a planet. We severely underestimate the power of bonding, and when we do reach it, the programing limits it to one person only. Atomized as singles or couples, we are still atomized. Coming together as more than two is the real gathering, is the making of community. Honesty and communication are the coin of trade of love, caring for each other, healing and elevating each other to our fullest potential and greatest balance. I have made such a mistake the times I have spoken in the past of empowering yourself as a means of improvement, because it projects this very same paradigm of the self as a way, when it's in fact the communal way, the way.

We are longing for each other's medicine, and I guess yes, de-fragmenting from the programming of consumerism and that everything is just a product, is a self-improvement must we need to reach to then be able to finally live the moment with others, finally get closer to that other person, to another person and even to ourselves. Going high means going slow, we cross great distances yes, but we experience it as a slow, enjoyable, fulfilling moment. When we are high we allow ourselves to open up and find in the now the answer to tomorrow.

Will you open up, come to the gathering, or stay there in the dark corner of business as usual?

The voice of self healing.

Within the age of isolation previous to the great coming gathering, something has been ripped apart from us by business and this is the art of self healing. When an animal is wounded, even if it's within a group, it retreats to be alone, so it can recover. Homeostasis has been effectively stolen from us by a belief system in external healing, that when ill, it needs assistance. There is a crucial difference in believing this and getting assistance when sick, which, will always be helpful. The programing from the systems tells us that we are unable to heal if we don't "fix it", the mechanicist worldview at its best, taking over our bodies.

This message is essential to understand for the circle of medicine. For the divination of the nawal, he says that we are in a moment when we must take the opportunity to heal if we are alone and if we are with someone. The number seven is for channeling and spiritual, sacred connection, with higher dimensional beings. It represents tuning and harmonizing. If you find yourself alone it will be a great time to fine tune the details around you, in your house and even further within yourself, so that a greater state of homeostasis can be achieved. It may seem unrelated but it's not. How things are arranged in your house, your clothes, simple details are all part of a greater body which all together casts a state of health for you. Understand that this being placed alone is an opportunity, a necessity for healing, and if you're able to hunt today's deer energy, it will service you with that crucial improvement that is needed in you so that you can better relate with others in a near future.

Magic then is not an invisible belief system, it's simply these relations with the surrounding that hasn't been properly bridged in our minds, for we come from the materialist worldview where logically, they are not related. In Toltec training and similarly in Buddhism we are taught to stay clear from the noise of our own minds and to search for inner silence. A technique to achieve this that today's nawal wishes to share is to learn to find a healing voice that responds to the bitchy voice that is always in your head. Add a second locutor inside you that responds with something smart and loving when the first voice speaks. Even if it does not appear, learn to soothe and strengthen yourself through a compassionate, assisting voice.

If you find yourself with someone, procure a sacred space today where you can fine tune aspects about your relationship, whatever this is. A crucial element to find healing here is to discard the patriarchal model of relationships where there can only be two. Any relationship must always welcome others, and a plentiful state is only achieved when we are all gathered together, complete and whole, in one voice and one heart. To get there, we must lay the way, we must tune to this structure in our acts, minds and feelings, even when it is not yet here. It will be, there will be a time when we will all be able to gather, celebrate and feast that we are finally complete and free from dis-ease.

Party.

Song marks the time and the rhythm; earth marks the what and the who. Celebrating is true wisdom—the intense, embodied dance of being utterly grateful for what you hold true.

Dance is precisely that: it is the ultimate play of life, the canvas of pure feeling, and the vehicle upon which the soul embarks on its journey into what comes after having walked this earth. We can only dance with this sense of transcendence when we listen to the song that carries the code of our story, of our land, and of our past. We can only dance when we are genuinely, authentically happy. Beyond the conflict that must be resolved lies the grace and gratitude of having lived the experience of our existence. That is what we dance to.

In native communities, ceremonies are not divorced from gatherings and parties; they are one and the same. There may be a solemn, prayerful part of the gathering, but even there, sacred beverages, pipes, or practices that elevate our awareness to a different level are present. Within certain sections, there is quiet, united silence and meditation; in others, there is laughter, fun, and wild dance. In the native worldview and in native celebrations, nothing is cast out of heaven, just as nothing is not held by the earth. They are not divorced—they are married. And that marriage is paradise, not hell. A place where we already are, not one we are going or not to.

Modern humanity has lost its way, thinking its problems will be solved by a fancier calculator, or by digitizing our every interaction and routing our communications through the fugacity of light held in a silicon wafer. Power was originally created by those who knew about the veil of mystery and eternal creation. Today, that power is being transferred to those who can no longer even recognize the existence of this veil—those trapped in the materialist belief pushed by intellectual mechanists and technocrats. The end product of all this is the unstoppable advance of a misery-imposing system that pushes the vast majority to the edge of suicide, war, and death, while exiling a tiny few to islands of extreme wealth where they live surrounded by decrepit ruins. What is there to celebrate about that?

When the sacred code is harnessed—not merely repeated—and when the song is truly understood and composed, we can listen closely to the lyrics and realize that out of human gathering, a coming together to celebrate and have fun, emerges the act of offering: which is simply the physical enactment of gratitude. We can only feel gratitude when we genuinely connect with what is human and with the natural world. Only in that organic world does true plenitude exist. Calling for and attending this gathering is the only way we can enter a space of total openness where we can dissolve dogmas—which are nothing more than the misinterpretations of the code. The party opens us up to joy and gratitude; the music pushes us to be in the exact same rhythm and tune. When the right song is played, we become one, and all conflict dissolves.

This great gathering won't be happening fully today. Today, we get to hear the call and identify the tune through this decoding of the sacred code. Through this, we must understand that the resolution of conflict in mankind will be carried out through a grand, presential gathering—a real, physical coming together where we are allowed to freely express ourselves and where nothing and no one is left out. With the right call, the right song, and the right ceremony, the dark cloud of genocide will be dispelled. To get there, we must dispel our own internal adversity and our inability to withstand the party, the long night, and the transgression of physical limits. Without that inner strength and stamina, there is no balance, and we will never make it to the dance. If you can't take it, you won't make it.

The Deer / The Four Pillars / (Kej) represents the four legs of the deer, the four cardinal pillars upholding the sky, physical leadership, authority, nature, and the unshakable strength required to walk through the wild forest. It is the nawal of spiritual guides, community pillars, stability, and the sacred balance between humanity and the natural realm. In its seventh position (Wukub'), it marks the exact midpoint and zenith of the 13-day trecena—the top of the pyramid. Seven brings the frequency of culmination, global balance, systemic overview, and the bridge that connects the lower, physical realm with the higher, spiritual heights.

To embody Seven Kej is to step into the role of a true pillar who can hold the weight of the community without bending. It demands that we anchor our spiritual authority not in sterile isolation, but in the physical, living sanctuary of earth and collective human presence. At this seventh, central station of the wave, Kej takes the gestating entity—conceived in Imox, voiced in Ik', tested in Ak'ab'al, structured in K'at, vitalized in K'an, and given spirit in Keme—and gives it four strong legs to stand on, a staff of authority to hold, and the stamina to lead the gathering. It reminds us that true authority does not control or digitize; it gathers, honors the earth, stands firm through the long night, and leads the dance of life with unshakable grace.

1. Visual Depiction in Codex Borgia (Plate 9)

In Plate 9 of the Codex Borgia, where each of the 20 day signs is arrayed in sequence with its governing divinity, Tlaloc sits in authority directly over Mazatl:

  • Iconographic Identifiers: Tlaloc is instantly recognizable by his diagnostic "goggle eyes" (rings around the orbits, representing cloud spirals or serpents) and his distinctive fanged mouth (tlalocelotl), reminiscent of a jaguar or entwined serpents.

  • Colors & Adornments: He is painted in deep aquatic blues and earthy greens, wearing a paper crown/headdress dripping with liquid rubber stain (amatzcalli), carrying the lightning-serpent staff (coatopitzactli) or thunderbolt in his hand.

  • The Atmosphere of Earth & Sky: Drops of life-giving water, clouds, and agricultural growth surround his seated form, signaling the nourishment that feeds the wild forest where the deer roams.

2. Overview of Mazatl and Tlaloc

Mazatl (The Deer): The Sign Dynamics

  • Sign Number: 7th Day Sign of the 260-day Tonalpohualli (corresponding to Kej / Ceh in the Maya calendar).

  • Symbolism: The deer represents agility, the untamed wilderness, sensitivity, swift physical footing, and the four legs that support life upon the earth. It is a creature of the forest depths—noble, elusive, and intimately tuned to the subtle shifts in the natural landscape.

  • The Four Pillars: In Mesoamerican thought, the four hooves of Mazatl ground the body like the four cardinal posts (pawahtuns / tlalocs) holding up the sky.

Tlaloc (He Who Makes Things Sprout): The Governing Deity

Tlaloc is one of the oldest and most revered deities in Mesoamerica, dating back to Teotihuacan. While often simplified as a "rain god," Tlaloc embodies the primary atmospheric engine of earth’s metabolism:

  1. The Thunder Force & The Wilderness: Tlaloc governs the high mountain forests, the wild places where rain clouds gather, springs originate, and deer roam. He does not rule domestic gardens; he rules the grand ecosystem of nature itself.

  2. Nourishment Through Storm: Tlaloc’s gift is life-giving water (atl), but his nature is not gentle—it arrives with lightning, thunder, and raw elemental intensity. He demands stamina, respect, and proper ritual offering before his powers yield sustenance.

  3. The Four Directions (Tlaloque): Tlaloc manifests in four primary colors across the four cardinal directions (the Tlaloque assistants), aligning directly with the four-legged stability and directional orientation of Mazatl.

3. Theological & Esoteric Synthesis (Mazatl + Tlaloc)

When Mazatl (the deer of nature, agility, and four-legged grounding) merges with Tlaloc (the force of storm, rain, and wild fertility), a profound spiritual medicine emerges:

  • The Sacred Gathering in Nature: Tlaloc's rain feeds the wild forests where Mazatl walks. This combination represents the fundamental marriage of Sky (Tlaloc’s waters) and Earth (Mazatl’s hooves). It reminds us that true ceremony and "the party" are not held in sterile, digitized spaces, but in the physical presence of the natural world.

  • Stamina to Withstand the Storm: Tlaloc brings the rain, the long night, and the deluge; Mazatl provides the strong, agile legs needed to navigate the slippery mountain terrain without falling. To join the sacred dance, one must possess the physical stamina of the deer under Tlaloc's thunder.

  • Dissolving Dogma through Elemental Truth: Before Tlaloc’s lightning bolt and Mazatl's raw instinct, artificial human dogmas and technological hubris dissolve instantly. Nature does not argue—it acts, flows, and purifies.
