Pleasant Distance
There is this part of us, and we might find ourselves stuck here quite a bit, where we need to simply have space apart from it all. We want to get away from so many things, and it is a good thing to do so, to end, go, and have silence. It's a silence from the others because in this space of apparent silence, is where we can finally hear ourselves, our thoughts and below that, the thoughts and messages from our ancestors and the spirit world that is constantly speaking to us. So we are never really alone. In fact if we want to feel less lonely, we need to be able to make this space and learn to hear in the silence, all the voices, all the spirits, all of our noisy thoughts. Not being able to distance ourselves from the noise is what in fact makes us anxious and lonely.
In Toltec training we practice making distance from your own thoughts and internal dialogue. You can shut it down for a few seconds, but you can't constantly suppress it. What you can do is to sit further away from it, get used to not identifying with it, with what it says. This can be weird, how can you ever not identify with what you yourself is thinking? Same goes for dreaming. Do we dare put ourselves in a truly empty mind? Many blessings and healings come when we find this sacred space, when we are able to distance ourselves from ourselves in a loving and controlled way (the other way would be loosing your soul, or walking away from your body, you don't want that).
Today allows us to be confortable with all of this and even seek it. It's a great example of how peace feels like.

Getting inevitably caught by failure is part of the process, and a great teaching Eb would say. Mesoamerican elders were wise and advanced, we are still to reach understanding they lived with already. Taking other people's things is wrong, including their lives, but what about taking your own life? A snakish attachment to life allows for little tolerance to death, it's taboo. That's why Mesoamerican civilizations were not only of the snake, but of death, the vulture and the owl. There was no fear of dying, there is none, when knowing is present, when spirit is present, when connection exists. Dying wasn't the end either, it was the continuation, the first step to rebirth, a transformation and a desired one.
Killing yourself is not bad per se, how you do it and with what means, can be. When you honor and respect what is alive, so can you respect its death, procuring that transformation in a sacred manner. This civilization filled with taboos and wrongs is finished, it's unsuitable for us. Treating something as if it's bad is the only evil. It makes it bad. Evil can then be finished in our minds, when we allow ourselves to die, have this persona with ID die, have the illusions of a life procured by machines and evil masters die. Today we are invited to take the wrong out of being finished with something. We are invited to actively end. This will bring great peace and great wisdom. Today a strong connection with the spirit world and the world of the dead will be felt. If you can connect, if you can be finished, then great revelations and wisdom will come.

When we finally understand that we don't have a choice—or that our choices are merely reduced to picking a single flavor of ice cream—and that, for now, our path forward is singular, we might naturally pause today and ask: Do we even want to continue walking?
When we reach this precise point of surrender, spirit—manifested through the potent frequency of today's Three Death—makes its presence known. If we actively acknowledge it, if we maintain a living connection with the ancestors and the spirits of the unembodied, we will be offered a hand and we will be guided. If we do not, we will instead be showered by a heavy sadness, a profound loneliness, and the empty, hollow reality that the architects of this dystopian civilization have manufactured.
The core message today is that life—everything that fills your vessel, everything that grants you hope, everything that transforms a simple scoop of ice cream into an incredible experience bursting with love and joy—is the animating spirit flowing beneath it all. It is the ancestors who have gifted you life, and who have tended the plants and animals that ultimately provide that sweet cream you are enjoying. The way you consciously breathe spirit into any given situation is the true experience you are here for, not the superficial shell of the occurrence itself. Beyond the immediate experience of the now, there is a grand story unfolding—a massive mission you can actively choose to be a part of. The spirits need you, the Earth needs you, and it is high time you listen.
If you can hear this calling today, if you can stretch your hand out and allow yourself to be genuinely guided by the unseen forces arriving to aid you, then you will be led to that dimensional space where choices expand and life fundamentally improves. If you choose not to, you may find yourself increasingly stuck in a life that appears to have no exit, no change, and no future.
The Transformer/The Ancestors (Kame / Cimi) represents death, the ancestors, transformation, the closing of cycles, rebirth, and the profound wisdom found in the underworld. It is the nawal of peace, protection, and the spiritual bridge that connects the living with the unembodied realms, though it can manifest as deep melancholy or absolute paralysis if one refuses to let go of what must die. In its third position (Oxib'), it carries the frequency of the number three, which introduces the energy of expression, the first true shape, the triad, and the manifestation of a creative or spiritual force into the material plane. Three is the number of the catalyst—the action that breaks the stagnation of duality.
To embody Three Kame is to master the materialization of ancestral guidance. The polarizing, divided force of yesterday's serpent energy has dissolved, and today that friction is catalyzed into a direct line of communication with the other side. Sitting at the expressive, transitional threshold of the number three, this nawal does not ask you to intellectualize your isolation or mourn your lack of choices. It demands that you actively speak to the unseen, honor the lineage that blood-lined your current vessel, and allow the old, dead structures of your expectations to be completely transformed. Do not let the artificial isolation of a broken world convince you that you are walking this path alone. Use the deep, ancestral lens of today's energy to reach out your hand, let the spirit world breathe life back into your immediate reality, and allow yourself to be led forward by the very architects of your destiny. The portal is open today; surrender the illusion of control, listen to the whisper of the grand mission, and let the ancestors show you the way out.
Guided.
