3 Kawoq

Jaguar spots

From the darkness is that light, the universe, the visible and touchable, has been created. In this same manner we find ourselves driven by the revenge to heal the wounded, our brightest actions and most loving acts seed from past pain, ours or others'. Kawoq is the dark energy in the universe that catalyzes as a storm to bring down a rain of blessings on everyone. No blessing, no rain, comes without its dark, without impurity as source. Pollution from fire and smog works as the vital particle to which water adheres to so it can come down as rain.  Our inner pain will be the force that will drive us to heal, and to heal others, to change what is wrong so that this pain does not occur again.

The good, yellow jaguar, has spots and the spots are black. Nothing is ever separated and pure. Our origins, our ideas, they are all mixed, but not homogenized; rather swirled together as oil and water, spots of the other within the different. The good jaguar knows what is good because it has the black within him, he has lived it, it shows through his skin. The dark is there, but he is not darkness, he is not the black jaguar. Today's reading will invite us to know this and make the best powerful use of our darkness to make good. Make sure that you act on the good jaguar. The black stains will tell you all the shit you feel, all the bad that is there, but don't manifest that, don't expand the black. Magic is knowing what not to show, transforming darkness into light. Starving the bad by not giving it the light of your attention and feeding the good by acting against your bad inner feeling, is how you grow goodness. Make sure you catalyze good and beware of storm days flipping you around.

Sunshine.

Mother earth went through many radical rearrangements, tragedies, destructions and cataclysms, before she was ready to house us as her offspring. Organic moving life, "that which has a moving heart which imbues it life" -yollotia- seems like smartly faces on the challenges early on in her development and it must be for a reason. We are to find out why. Today is the kind of Kawoq day that is supposed to bring about blessings instead of troubles. Amongst a very stormy year and season, where recently whole cities have been flooded and destroyed because of excessive rains throughout Mexico, today we get some sunshine. The wisdom of consciousness preparing and seeing in advance for the different cycles to be lived, seems to be the teaching of today. Some kind of packing for a trip, gathering resources for a project or preparing for something, is in sight. The little or much we have, we must use wisely foreseeing the times to come. Fixing what is wrong first is the best way to invest in a longer project. Get rid of the sharp corners first, so that you may work more smoothly for the rest of the period.

Making conflict and cataclysm part of the formative part of development of an entity, makes for a much more resilient and adaptable type of entity. Aymara traditional families in the Andean highlands throw newborns over the top of the roof of the house to be caught by someone else on the other side, only then is the newborn ready to live in this world. With today's nawal's teaching, we might understand why we were subject to the things we were, and why humanity has faced this long period of darkness. Proof it is that a long period of prosperity is all that can come.

Nexus.

Surrendering to and flowing with the sacred spirit and the ancient cycles of time—deeply rooted in our lands and cultures—we are transported to a place of absolute sanctuary, regardless of the tempest crashing elsewhere. There is no quieter place than the eye of the storm. A hurricane can unleash catastrophic flooding hundreds of kilometers away and whip up devastating winds near its center, but within the eye itself, there is only quietude and sunshine. I have stood there; it does not even rain.

Today’s energy of Three Storm operates exactly like that: a pristine blessing of sunlight and peace. If this stillness reveals itself to you today, it is the ultimate sign that you are the nexus, and that everything rotating around you is storming for the sole purpose of accommodating itself to the spirit you behold. We might be completely surrounded by chaos, yet that friction is precisely the validation that we are positioned exactly where we need to be. We continue to act, but with deliberate pause, carrying the precise art and energetic shielding of yesterday’s Tijaax, fully understanding that we cannot fix anything by violently storming out into the external chaos.

We must remain profoundly grounded and recognize that our actions, words, and thoughts are the very fuel that catches fire outside, driving the massive transformation we must learn to ride in peace. We must remain at the absolute center of it, embodying the nexus. Getting angry, storming away, or acting out of drastic, frantic impulse during this specific trecena will only throw us out of this unavoidable eye of the storm—exiling us from the sunshine and casting us out to the fringes where chaos reigns supreme.

The Storm/The Rain (Kawoq / Cauac) represents the thunderstorm, the collective consciousness, the spiritual community, the midwife, the womb of creation, and the intense energetic clearing brought by heavy rains. It is the nawal of the home, emotional release, and the necessary tension that precedes a massive breakthrough, though it can manifest as overwhelming emotional outbursts, family drama, self-pity, or getting completely swept away by collective panic if its energy becomes ungrounded. In its third position (Oxib'), it carries the dynamic, expressive frequency of the number three. Three represents the first step of externalization, communication, creative manifestation, and the birthing of a concept into physical reality.

To embody Three Kawoq is to master the deliberate expression of calm within the collective tempest. The sharp, defensive boundaries established by yesterday’s Flint have triggered an intense emotional and environmental storm today, demanding that you anchor your energy to prevent being swept away. Sitting at the creative, expressive threshold of the number three, this nawal does not allow you to hide from the rain or aggressively fight the wind. It demands that you recognize your role as the emotional anchor of your community, hold the space of the midwife, and allow the storm to rage outside while you maintain absolute composure within. Do not let the external lightning or family friction provoke you into a chaotic reaction. Use the expansive, cleansing lens of the Storm today to birth a sanctuary of peace from your own core, remain the unshakable nexus, and let the storm wash away the old debris so the sun can shine through. The heavens are breaking open today; stay in the center, hold the vision, and let the rain do its work.
