Taking care

Some kind of loss, a situation, can be hurting today. The winds of change are blowing hard on humanity. The space left to sit in comfort and live the status quo lifestyle grows smaller. Those who are not seeking change on their own willpower and desire to learn and expand, are suddenly faced with change, pushed to the abyss, taught by the bat. Those who are empowering themselves are finding grace and learning to take care. The path of true spiritual awakening comes down to caring. Today's nawal speaks about it and has some advice for those who are in the path of taking care. The path of taking care is long and endless. Let's be tolerant with ourselves and others. That you are taking care now doesn't mean you always have taken care. So there's a lot you haven't cared for, a lot of things that still need your care. What hasn't been taken care of will manifest, it will show, others will judge you for being careless, and it doesn't mean you are not taking care. In the path of taking care you will find hurt because you will find the things that haven't been cared for, and finally you will discover, that you can't, at least for now, take care of everything.

You cannot free yourself from religion.

In the grand cycle of existence, we get to live in a single slice only. Out of all the lives in all of time—you believe in past and future lives—you are only in one at a time. Out of all the days of your life, you are only existing in today. Out of everything you know, you can only summon so much memory and information at once. Out of all the information that is around you right now, you can only process through your senses so much, never all.

Our consciousness is a narrow hole through which the information we are able to process and make sense of flows through. Around this hole lies a mesh, the subconscious, capable of summoning a lot more information, but not with the clarity and congruence of the conscious. This mesh is made of information you know, ideas and concepts you believe, and information you pick up from sources further away than your known senses. This hole, like the limitations of the illusion of time and space, make it so we are never processing or experiencing the real, the all; only a piece, a slice, a reflection of it.

Knowing this, past advanced civilizations, unlike ours, supported themselves with the technology of faith, the sacred and the symbolic. Through animism, this mesh was more extensive and more conclusive, it expanded the neural pathways beyond what could be perceived and processed at any given slice of time. Through this mesh they connected vast expanses of a great mind they had more access to, because they allowed themselves to believe in it.

Today we are pray to a religion of atheism, materialism and technocratic dogmatic unscientific scientificism that constantly spells what we are allowed to know and understand. It is the most sterile and reduced container that we could find ourselves in. This container keeps its believers safe from the polluted flasks of other religions, where other dogmas of falsity, deceit and mongering have polluted the gods that are kept as the governors of those entities. The flask of atheism is the one that deceives its captives by making them think that they know, and that they are free of belief. They will defend this belief with the ferocity of any other religion.

It is better to leave the flasks and expand into the bowl of a greater and older pre-existing belief system. The message of today's nawal is that we will never be free of belief, as it is the mesh that binds us beyond what we can congruently know, to the world that exists outside the reduced slice of our time and attention. Pay attention to the gods, altars, temples and institutions you place your faith in. Even if you don't like it, you believe in it as if it was a religion. You cannot free yourself from this type of binding, from this way of relating.
