Law of the land
We really have to look for other words and ideas to describe our habits. The word addiction has such a negative connotation, and it leads to a purist quest of spirituality that is the quest for a sky-boundness completely detached from earth-ness. Earth through my body has blessed me with the coming revelation, and you, the reader, 5-15 hits that these readings get, are the inspiration and gate to the sky, for otherwise, without you, I wouldn't sit here diligently writing this.
If we dare detach the known language and conceptions about life and ourselves, and see them from a new, unheard of perspective, we can empower ourselves and heal a great deal. The body is our sacred vessel, yet, it's an animal, a living being. As holy as we may be, we are earthy animals, and we won't elevate nothing until we learn to take care of ourselves as we truly are. Our body gets used to whatever it is given. There is no law for this, no recipe, not even a "science" behind it. All external formulas will fail you, because we simply are conscious entities that will adapt to whatever we have or not have.
The nutrients we don't get, we produce. It all takes energy, sure, it all transacts to energy, but we have plenty of it. When we are inspired and connected to a true path of wisdom, to our true spirit -if we retrieve it- then we have even more energy for this transaction. If we find the nutrients externally, then this energy we are spending on creating them is free for other repairs and growths. If we get used to having peace in the morning, taking the sun, having breakfast in a calm environment, and one day we get a 9-5 job and we stop getting all that, we will have to make up for that. We are "addicted" to whatever we have. It can be peace, it can be sunshine, it can be the love we get from our partners. It can also be the chills and thrills of very negative things. Our going into ourselves to cry and whine about stupid shit. Sure they have used a "scientific" language to describe this -and we fall into it because we are sold on the idea of titles- but it's really not that "chemical" and "physical" as it is simply our being loving and developing a soul habit, an environment, a home that it will miss if it changes.
Changes come all the time, and we have energy saved up for this, we have habituated ourselves to it and even made it part of our habit, of our addiction. So let's stop calling it addiction, let's quit the stigma and negative connotation, and even the judgement to whatever it is we do and others do, it's not helping. Let's look at it form the perspective of love and taking care. How can we grow into a better habit? what habits do we don't want? what habits would we like to have?
The devil is in the details. Another big download for today's nawal. It applies to everything. Let me suggest the habit of paying more attention to the details, let me suggest the fact that they are more important than we would want them to be. I just learned this yesterday. You will be given storm not by what you do or not do, but by the way you do things. If you take care of the details with enough subtlety, if you can come down from the hype of overachieving and actually do the small things with finer detail, then, you are taking care and caring for others.
Which brings us to the final message from today's nawal: bring it down a notch. Eight earth is the integrity of life, very good day. It will make sure that what we are making is well made. Life will much rather kill and discard weak and incomplete beings or beings that are using too much space and use that energy for the ones that have integrity. The integrity of the great hunter is that he/she understands that he/she can only achieve so much, he/she is able to walk on the earth, he/she prays for big game, but will settle for a mouse. As much as he/she can see and be the stars, he/she understands that they are on the earth, that taking care of what is here is more important that what can be achieved or even, what is needed for the future.

At the center of the visible cosmos lies a spiraling axis, a tree of life. As the spiral turns, areas of it enter regions of greater light and regions of greater darkness. This part of the universe lives within us and represents our path of evolution as living beings. There is no absolute light, absolute right, and there is no absolute wrong or absolute shadow. What is in one side eventually spins to the other. Within us lies that connection that can guide us to do the right things, at times even though we cannot describe them, we cannot foretell, not even understand what they are, we can choose to align with them and be wise. At other times that wisdom will reveal itself, we will understand the codes and how their geometry sings creation.

After flying, we must inevitably land. In certain regions, the earth is profoundly flat; where mountains do not interrupt the monopoly of the plains, vast lagoons, wetlands, and sanctuaries for waterfowl take over. Here, the water is steady and completely still, devoid of any steep gravity to force it into a rush. All that is required of you is to let yourself float—a necessity in life once you have returned to earth after a long flight.
Once the fire of serving others has finally consumed its fuel, we are brought back to a sanctuary where we can, and must, attend to our personal rituals, our private spaces, and our intimate time. The ashes of that service must be gathered and deliberately spread, preventing any dense mounds from forming, aligning instead with the absolute flatness that characterizes the sea and the great open plains of our mother earth. If this physical vehicle is not properly tended to—and if we fail to realize that we are merely floating on the surface of existence rather than swimming violently against it—we risk sinking under the weight of our own agitation. True survival relies on the quiet art of staying afloat.
The Mind/The Earth (No'j / Ollin) represents the intellect, cosmic wisdom, the movement of the earth, synchronicity, collective memory, grand ideas, and the nobility of the spirit. It is the nawal of the scientists, the thinkers, the strategists, and those who transform knowledge into practical solutions for the community, though it can manifest as mental obsession, rigidity of thought, intellectual arrogance, or a deep disconnection from emotions if its powerful mental energy runs wild or becomes isolated. In its eighth position (Wajxaqib'), it carries the ultimate frequency of justice, structural completion, infinite renewal, and the weaving together of past and future threads. Eight is the number of the foundational cosmic laws, representing the complete cycle of the physical and spiritual loom.
To embody Eight No'j is to master the structural completion of your mind and intellect. The fluid suspension and flat stillness achieved by today's landing have settled directly into the infinite court of Wisdom, demanding that you use the clarity of the mind to organize your thoughts with absolute precision. Sitting at the supreme, unshakeable threshold of the number eight, this nawal does not tolerate mental confusion, superficial distraction, or the chaos of loose ideas. It demands that you collect the ashes of your experience, spread them in an orderly manner, and allow your mind to align with the natural laws of our mother earth. Do not let internal restlessness sink your clarity. Use the heavy, analytical lens of No'j today to shape your knowledge, protect your intimate space, and anchor your visions into a firm, structured ground. The cosmic loom is perfectly balanced today; organize your mind, claim your ancestral wisdom, and let your intellect find its center.
