Spiritual teaching
Wanting to speak the language of the earth, we have developed complex ways of offering our attention and energy, we have crafted magic that speaks on our behalf to the telluric gods of this earth. Prayer and chant accompany the language, taking it to the realms of sound, to the sky through smelly smoke, to the sources of life through our minds and souls. Massive offerings in this style were once withheld, with thousands of people assisting to oversized temples built for this purpose. Did we ever listen?
When I asked to listen today, I was spoken to. Today's nawal told me about invisible offering, immaterial prayer, the flowers, the candies, it's al parafernalia, nice to have, but not vital for what is being asked. We are being asked, we are being offered to, by the earth, spoken with. It's time to harvest what we have offered, multiplied. To do that, we simply must learn to listen. The only offering pending, if you have assisted to all the others, is learning, changing, tuning in to what the spirit wants you to be. Harmonizing with the frequency of the love you want to be. Not that grumpy bitch that we so easily turn into. Get away from the bad frequencies, yes, into nature, deep we shall go. But still, whilst we are here, it's the chance to love each opportunity to love; find the loving way to say. To do that is not of the ogre, is of the fairy. That transition, that learning, is what we must listen, receive. That's what the fire god, the water woman, want from us, burn away anger and flow with love.

The universe is spawning from time with infinite potential, where spirit and the mind tilts, the energy leans and it pushes through the atoms coming in and out of existence. Many of you know this and today's nawal teaches us to still be mindful of fundamental structural physics. These rules may not be embedded in the atomic structure itself, or be an effect of relativity; they might as well be in our minds or in the great mind. Think of bones and flesh attached to it, or a cement plank with steel beams. When enough force or weight is put on, it breaks, but not fully, thanks to the beams. The beams, the structure, is responsible for the main cohesion of the body; the flesh, the cement, is just a filler, it exists (as a plank) thanks to the beams attached to it. Like this, mind and spirit are attached to their creations, this visible, tangible universe with time and space: you, this life, your body, this planet.
Of all the paying and offering, there are Tooj days of reward, and today might be one of them. If we conceive that our true coming to this world is so that we can contribute to the betterment of the whole, then anything given is also received. Here's where the cleansing and purifying must focus on the goal of a path, a project, a quest with a goal, and that goal is taking you and others effectively out of the streamlines of slave destruction by junk, aka, the system. Tooj as a new fire with its refreshing Atl renovates the old structures, we are at a time of skimming, of peeling, of surfacing the bare bones of knowing the structures of our creation. This is a painful process filled with gore, old souls must get ready and the new ones will hide in digital numbness and are already sterilized for extinction. The sadistic twisted worldview of the survival of the fittest has become true, we are to sleep through the Orwellian nightmares that we have written for ourselves. If you are not strong enough and ready to take a look at, feel and seep into the blood that flows through you, with all the toxins and poisons that have been streamed into humanity, look at the bones that make you and reality, you will be set aside as a partially accepted, partially unaccepted decoration flower pot. We can push through this cleansing and will be helped by heaven and earth if we align. Bear in mind we will be helped, not given, this gift must come out of our creation, we are the ones that are supposed to give, to create. Chances are, you will get for what you are creating and for what and who you are helping.
Luck is like that.

When you generate true profit, others inevitably take notice and begin to throw stones. Yet true profit is not a matter of material wealth; if you measure it in money, it is a sign that you have misconstrued its nature. True profit is the enhancement of life, skill, and art. While this richness occasionally manifests in physical resources, it often appears as its very opposite—making it feel as though you are laboring for nothing, offering a craft that no one seems to appreciate. This temporary absence of recognition is precisely the sign that the real treasure is being polished within. It is in these moments that, instead of praise or reward, you are met with resistance.
To some degree, everyone in the modern world is conditioned by the collective waters of our shared karma, influenced by an overarching system that seeks to prevent beauty, goodness, and human warmth from taking root. When a truly profitable, deeply human endeavor emerges, people may unconsciously react with negativity. Even when individuals do not stand in the way, life itself places potholes, rocks, blockages, and setbacks along the road to test your momentum. Yet this friction is not a mistake; it is an essential phase of the process, beautifully embodied by today's nawal.
What follows is clear: you take the stones thrown at you and use them to build a bridge across the chasms in your path. Having straightened your trajectory and focused on your true destination, small obstacles arise to test your resolve. When the essence of today's nawal is fully understood—when you cultivate a right relationship with this spirit, with the sacred forces of fire and water, and with the field of your own karma—obstacles cease to be hindrances. Instead, every rock becomes a necessary note played in the larger harmony of your song.
Tooj/Atl (Fire/Water) represents the sacred offering, the payment of karmic debt, spiritual balance, and the ceremonial fire that restores harmony to the cosmos. Tooj is the nawal of restitution, gratitude, purification, and the transmutation of hardship into spiritual currency. Paired with the pivotal energy of the Number 7—the frequency of equilibrium, the peak of the trecena, and the bridge between the physical and spiritual realms—this sign marks the midpoint where obstacles are recognized as the necessary offerings required to balance our path.
To embody 7 Tooj is to welcome resistance as a sacred teacher and transform every hindrance into an offering of growth. Standing at the central crest of the Ak'ab'al trecena, this energy calls you to embrace the rocks thrown along your journey and use them to pave your way forward. Do not curse the blockages or the karmic friction you encounter; instead, offer your patience, honor your debts with dignity, and allow the fire of Tooj to refine your spirit, turning every obstacle into a stepping stone toward ultimate balance.
Blocks.
