Liquidate
Check you allegiances, and if needed, reconfigure them, so that you are honoring, paying, exchanging with the true sources, the truth, the spirit of love and truth. Today I pray for you that all your debt with the wrong is liquidated, if you allow this prayer to be effective, it will be, but beware that your contract again more debt with the same evil spirit. It is ingenious and disguises as a source of light. A positive prayer is not enough, we really need to SEE clearly in the mists of the fire and DISTINGUISH the truth from the lies.
A light will be lit, and water will be changed, light a candle for yourself and join me in this prayer so that all wrong debt is settled, join me in offering to this evil spirit a last offering so that it can finally be told and made go. Now only the debt to ourselves, to our plenitude, to our mother earth will need to be paid, and we will enjoy gifting our lives to this righteous entity, as what we give to her, comes back to us.

Knowledge is sometimes everything you need to make everything different. A spiritual discipline that connects you with the spirit of freedom, of the living biosphere, will bring about knowledge that will, if you are patient, give you freedom. Applying this knowledge will then give you the power to shift your perception from an owing place, where you are karmically entangled, to a debt-free position, where you are now free. No external factors are necessary, only the ability to shift your point of view, your perception on a situation, your awareness and thus retain the power of authority over a certain unfolding event. Shifting a point of view is not gaslighting yourself or mumbling affirmations. It's being able to have the depth in the knowledge so that you can see the same thing from a very different point of view. We might not see the relation to giving away our power or not to someone or something because we lack the knowledge, and a sustained animist relationship, but they are related, everything is.

Through this trecena we are seeing the ways in which we can realistically "be spiritual". Creating for the future was yesterday's way; today, we get the lesson of doing without. This is where it all kind of went wrong; like anything, it can be taken without proper balance and an extreme version put in place: purism. In any body, any relation with, let's say a plant, a beverage or a substance, can be highly beneficial and even necessary if it's kept with balance. Keeping balance means that there are moments, days, when you do without that relation. This moment without is highly necessary and beneficial, it keeps the balance, it regulates the body and keeps the relationship healthy.
Within a context where everyone seemed hopelessly hooked to something, it is no wonder that spiritual teachings highlighted the need for this regulation, they attempted to explain that happiness and transcendence did not come from this unique relationship on its own, and that many times it distracted us or blocked us from having other relationships, like with a conscious cosmos. Words like fanatical or addictive were conjured to describe this unhealthy behavior.
Tooj as an entity dedicated to seeing for the reciprocity principles like Karma-dharma and purification processes, is happy to explain today in a balanced way how we've gone terribly wrong understanding the principle of purity. Tomorrow's nawal will join the teaching saying doing what is fair, being just, is not a moral competition. Morality is not about being "cleaner" than others. In the same way, being "more pure" or being able to live "with less" is not in this way, a prize or a gain celebrated by anyone except the ego. Despite this, the idea of energetic or moral superiority has become the foundational stone for many "spiritual" practices.
Today invites us to leave this "abstentionism" cult and enter a sacred balance of doing without. The point of an offering, of a ceremony, is also so that we can go without, so that we share some of what we have and keep balance on what we need, meaning, need less. If we can frame this correctly and enter a balanced understanding with what is truly sacred, honoring the body and the needs and every living entity, then all stigmas and negative projections onto beings, foods, entities, substances and spirits should dissolve. We have the power and responsibility for what we choose to allow to hurt us or do us good. The measure of something being good to us, is that it allows us to go without it too.
