Jun Ajmaq - Allowing for failure is the path to success
You may think that having your basic necessities covered is a success, and it is, it's the success of living in a system where success comes at the cost of the loss of others. When we realize there might be something wrong with this, we embark on the spiritual path, seeking to balance our feelings and emotions, train our minds and ground our souls to a more embodied life, many times at the cost of greater financial success. Success too then, can be measured from this spiritual side. When we achieve states of improved health, improved life, greater understanding, more connection and more balanced emotions, we are successful in growing spiritually. This embodiment is not complete unless, and until, we embrace our role and responsibility as creators of this world. When we do, we start fixing the thing that might have initially embarked us in the spiritual path: fixing what is wrong with this world.
As we grow, we discover that reaching this goal is not easy, our grown up intuition tells us to focus locally, on the small things, we embark on the path of expanding our awareness. Our awareness is a flow of attention, how many things we can perceive at once. Our senses, our intuition, the voice in our mind or the images in our vision from our memories and imagination, they all come together through the channel of awareness. Awareness is consciousness, the opening of the perceiver. As this channel expands, we become aware that we are not alone, that our perception is not fully ours, that the greater consciousness, god or whatever you may want to call it, perceives through us, that we are part of it.
Our path in life is definitely the expansion of this flow, the improvement of it. Anything we might learn and practice, any advancement in life, leads to it. It is the true progression beyond the infinity of cyclical time and space. Time will manifest differently to those who have not been fortunate to find the message of this circle of medicine, be it here, or resonating in some other part of the conscious universe. Taking the time to write this, for me, and read this, for you, has not been in vain. It's part of a loving effort channelled through us coming from the greater consciousness, that through the archetypal nawals embrace us through this rhythm of the growth of the chol qu'ij. I cannot speak or read for those who are choosing to not include themselves in this progression. Let's make that a lesson, time is not mechanical, astrology isn't either. They don't forecast or spell a fixed invariable thing. They provide lines, geometry and ideas with which we fill in with colours and create our own interpretations, and that is what manifests in the physicality of time.
If you missed yesterday's eagle reading, you might be out of the loop to understand today's trecena reading. The beauty of a cosmology of unity in diversity is that each entity is independent and unique, yet they are all necessary to compose the whole. Understanding the process we are embarking on for the following thirteen days requires understanding the process we just went through. A rearrangement of our cosmic foundations, the sun revealed that it is him that is responsible for the turning of the ages, and that he is just an extension of us, of our own greater consciousness, so we choose what era we want to go into next. Being in the path of learning and discovery, we cannot understand the parts without wanting to understand the whole. Thinkers, scientists and researchers who are landing on the truth are doing so because they are allowing themselves to go beyond the limitations of a frame of knowledge of fragmentation, which is the legacy of occidental modern academia. They are coming to understand that they cannot fully explain anything, no matter how small it is, without understanding the whole of the context, and that is, all of history, all of creation and all of cosmos, and that includes consciousnesses and spirit.
Aligning with the truth then soon means discovering that we need to be part of the crafting of our future. Our work needs to be about that, our path, our spiritual path. We will find out in the coming days and as a projection into the coming years, that the traditional markers of success will soon lead to failure. Meeting AI algorithms and aligning with the requisites of a globalist economic technocracy will force us to a reduction of our health, wealth and freedom. We will soon find that there is no way around this. Stagnancy and survivalism will not be enough, living by ends meet formula will soon leave us homeless. We will be pushed to become truly creative and truly creators and to find ways to connect that are not taxed by the monopoly of media. It may look like we are not doing anything, by the measures of money, views, likes and the sort -the traditional markers of success. If we are aligned with truth, we will find the means to carry on, but our true abundance is yet to manifest, and it will do so in a different currency.
Part of the issue why this will be challenging comes from consumerist spirituality, negative information and new-age gaslighting. The theology of abundance and a whole series of teachings that shine to be spiritual are not. Deceit and the great spells of it are working to perfection. Beware, it's everywhere, it's viral and replicates within you. Nothing is what it seems and a discourse always has a hidden one, more is said by what is not said. Spirituality and its teaching will be weaponized against you so that you don't see your failures and keep believing everything is and will be alright. It isn't. True positivism is when we allow ourselves to see what is wrong, the negative, accept it and embrace it. False positivism is when we are told or tell ourselves that everything will be alright and that change, luck, help, or else will come from outside. Everything is alright because negativity is here to teach us what is the positive direction. Our failures are our greatest achievements, they point out our weaknesses and push us to make ourselves whole and strong. Our acquired beliefs make us think we are not good at something, that our talent can only embrace so much. This is true for time, we can only do so much with the time we are given, but it is not true as far as what we are talented. The whole idea of talents resides on the false idea that we are better at something and bad at other things. What is true is that we may like some things and not others, so we persevere in those we like and get good at them. As we step further into creativity, our appetite for creating and producing increases, so we dare to learn things we didn't know before, we start liking things we didn't. As we develop the skills to get good at any given creative task, we center our attention on the things we do wrong. That's how we get better at them.
The nawal Ajmaq is here to teach us about a peculiar aspect of being spiritual: expression of failure is the characteristic trait of originality. Imperfection is what makes things unique. To achieve authentic uniqueness, the flight of the condor, we must go through a series of teachings we will be sharing with the readings of the nawals that comprise this trecena. To get a good head start, we must start understanding and finding ways to embody the teaching that emotions are an expression of introspection, not a reality. They are here to be felt and guide us to a better understanding. When we get attached to them, we confuse them with our identity, we mix with it and the traumatic experience that induced it our vital energy, and so it ends up getting lost. We overcome fear by facing it, not by consolation. Our emotions are a powerful tool for ourselves to know ourselves better, to be expressed creatively, through a transformation. When we seek out someone else to express our undigested emotions, we are just dropping in them what we ourselves don't want to carry or can't process. When an emotion repeats itself and the situation that brings it, it's because we need to learn the lesson again. What needs to be expressed is our understanding or lack of understanding of the emotion, not the emotion itself. This is when another person can help us with feedback. Many times, we are not looking for feedback, we just need someone to "hear us". The only person that needs to "hear you" is yourself. Emotions are produced by our worldviews, they are not intrinsic to our bodies, basically, they are made up by our minds influenced by our beliefs.
Community is built by sharing ourselves thinking about others, not approaching others by thinking about ourselves. When we understand that we are bound to failure, as it is the mature part of the process of consciousness -the inward going phase of the results from the exercise of free will- we are in peace with the results, we can finally be careful and actually get better at it. This maturing process brings a different voice and thought to accompany our daily actions. With this voice we can now associate our feelings with better thought-through emotions as if we were grown ups. Now, the emotion is understood, it processes, we detach our vital energy from it, we have allowed and have accepted ourselves as we are, and the mistakes we make as our art.
