Disappearing act
260 days ago, I somehow missed a reading. If there's a day when a silence is proper, is on an I'x day. I don't remember choosing to voluntarily leave a day empty, without reading, so some kind of magic is at play. I like the fact that of all the I'x days that I did have the desire to share silence, the one where it involuntarily happened was on the nine, a number that was also assigned the jaguar archetype. Action speaks for itself. Note the death trecena. Might not seem like much, but this is the real magic this day was able to pull off. Please share what happened in yours, if it's worth noting.
Just after we push ourselves to share our inner sweetness, we come out, perform, stuff can happen. The result of our actions and investments is never what we expect it to be. Today's nawal keeps the nature of wanting to withdraw, retreat, abandon. This is something that can manifest today. It may seem harsh, and not like an advice. But it happens. When we honor this part of ourselves, we can maybe grow beyond it. I am very well at easy sharing this now, even on a Sunday with my house full of kids, even if I didn't have an insight of wisdom to share previously, like I do most days. I just sat down, and shared this from that emptiness, with love.

The Double Jaguar is a combination of deep magic. In this cave you are visiting, the fire is about to be lit and the trick is about to be revealed. Today’s nawal invites us to move through life with a deeper understanding of the mysterious workings of what we call "magic." One reason deep occult knowledge remains hidden—shrouded in a mysterious veil—is the common claim that "not everyone is ready." What this truly means is that many are not honest enough with themselves to encounter a discovery that would completely dismantle everything they believe.
True magic, or high wisdom, is reserved for those who are detached enough from their egos to allow themselves to be proven wrong at every turn. This is the great secret; this is, in fact, how real magic works. Most of the time, practitioners perform rituals that merely reinforce their existing beliefs. They perform ceremonies to attract prosperity and interpret every synchronicity as a sign that their "spell" is being heard. Sometimes spirit does speak, but often it says things we do not like. When that happens, we retreat into a secondary plane of attention where everything exists only in our minds, serving only to affirm our own confirmation bias.
Real magic does not add; it takes veils off. When you know what to ask for, you ask for insight, not "help." Insight allows us to see the misconceptions and deceptions we are blatantly clinging to. With this clarity, we can choose to act and prepare for what is real—for what is truly happening. There is always a strategic advantage to working from accurate information rather than comfortable bias. Becoming truly spiritual, then, is more about the courage to see what is true than the comfort of swallowing beliefs that fit your narrative.
Stop casting spells to get what you want. Start asking for the sight to see what you already have—and the honesty to admit what you’ve been ignoring. The Jaguar doesn't need to 'make' magic; the Jaguar simply sees in the dark.
