Script.
Created or in creation, creator or creatorless, it's barely the setting where the story takes place. There's not much you can do about that. What you can do something about, is what you do with the script your are given, the paper, the role. This time you are given, how you are going to act within this situation. You can't make appear shit or twist or influence reality to manifest yourself a sandwich, you have to go and make it, and that's IF you have the ingredients needed. The setting cannot be so much manipulated, being honest, as you can manipulate your attitude towards it and within it. In return then the ambience responds, 'cause everything is alive right; you want to check really if that's the setting you are living in.
Entering a spirit world we are revealed the true receptive, spiritual nature of the setting, the ambience, the world, the created. It does mutate and perform magically not in the ways dictated by lineal logic, yet it plays to an extent in accordance to it as much as possible, to keep the story sound, coherent, real. Entering into this notion may take a couple decades, so settle into the cave. Outside everything was dictated by logic, made sense and you were simply playing along the given script. In this cave you can now know that the script is being written by us and consequentially the setting adapts to the story. Within that story there is a character and it can also change. Playing the character differently is the extent of the power we bear. It's not easy changing who you are, and there the challenge lies. Reality check, things will be kept real, that's the spirit, regardless of how crazy they actually are. Beware of the spirits out there tonight.

I'm trying to gaze through the mist of the mystical realm, in between matter, time and space; spoken language limits us and I wonder, is spirit it? It isn't. What we hear in our minds, the voice of different spirits, is not the voice of the great spirit. What is the great spirit? It's the quiet essence of love, ever present, always there, not thinking, just breathing in the animus that gives what moves its movement.
Today is a wonderful day to learn to not listen to the many voices in your head and find the language that comes through mental silence. Love is what love has been, what remains even if dead, even if bones, is the love we build on. The only new thing we can create is to build again on top of the dust of our past, continue the legacies, no matter how dead they might seem to be.
Of the I'x trecena, this is the powerful day, when the jaguar again is summoned by spirit and the entities of the underworld find their place into your life. It's not about what you want, it's about what you have to go through, they say. Get ready to be surprised, on the divination side. On the what to learn side, we have to upscale our skills in telling when spirit, sacred spirit, speaks; and when it's just our tricky mind, or the mind of something else. The life of the Toltec man of wisdom, is figuring this out.
Language becomes evident, it's a tool, and as a tool, it has its limitations. We must develop ways to express and communicate that are different, different spoken languages, different ways to express and listen that are not spoken. Today opens a space where we can perceive how many times two points of view are simply not communicating correctly. Two communicating beings are each feeling, thinking and saying something different, and what they say then is interpreted differently by who hears it. We must not get frustrated with this and open our minds to realize that we are all simply trying, and there is no perfect way to be here on earth.
The sacred spirit makes itself present today to tell us that in our minds, ideas and what we say, there is data missing. Many narratives, lines of code or of thought, are simply disconnected from what is real. They touch on what is real, but only to validate themselves. By themselves they are not an honest enough expression of reality.
This is where the winds can be deflected, love can sometimes come and save us and show us that what we thought, as true as it sounded, was simply a bad wind, an incomplete, unfounded or even misled idea. Love and growth is an eternal purge of what doesn't fit into a loving reality. Following spirit is following no code, no law, no written principle. All guidelines eventually curve away from what is straight. Learn to be alive and steer your reality, don't be a machine.

From the deep underworld rise the fumes of decomposing souls; it is not the smell of eternal punishment, but of purgatory release into eternal peace. Those winds can be misleading—they speak of the changes necessary, they in fact lead the way, but we are reticent to follow this way, and today, our gut just doesn't buy the script. The script is that which cannot be changed, the fixed ways that are around us, the situation we are to navigate. Our intent is clear, the opportunity may be there in front of us, but something is not of our liking, and this bitch has the ultimate word.
Part of the necessary process is to follow and carry out that which you know is a very bad notion, a very pessimistic decision. This is the female character that binds us all, men and women, to act not out of our best interest, but out of our most egoistic urge. Mostly it is about not participating, not being there, ghosting out, or acting in bad faith. You stink and you know it, and here I will leave you.
Negativity, imperfection, decay, and intentional misconduct are part of the process and central to the womb of the I'x trecena as we learn. This nawal embodies the character behind I'x, spelling out its needs and wants, its bads and wrongs, in the hopes that some tonal, some sun or man, may come to the rescue. Yet this tigress knows this rescue is not coming and so she just lays in that bad place for even longer. Even if help did come, she would not accept it. Through the nine mirrors have we observed with today's nawal; we conclude that it is only in our mind—all of the barriers that keep us from getting where we need to go.
The Breath of Life / The Wind / The Hurricane / The Invisible Spirit (B'eleheb' Ik') represents the vital breath, sudden storms, shifting winds, invisible currents of thought, words that cut or heal, and the untamed wildness of the nocturnal jaguar priestess (I'x). It is the nawal of messengers, speakers, deep emotional weather, and the unseen atmospheric shifts that reshape the landscape. In its ninth position (B'eleheb'), it introduces the frequency of the underworld descent, testing, patience, the completion of a nine-fold cycle of trials, and the confrontation with our deepest shadows and self-sabotaging patterns.
To embody Nine Ik' is to sit in the choking fumes of your own stubbornness and recognize the "bad wind" not as a curse sent from outside, but as the authentic, unvarnished scent of your own egoic decay. It demands that you stop pretending to be pure or enlightened, and instead look directly at how you choose withdrawal, spite, and deliberate bad faith when things don't go your way. At this ninth station of the trecena of I'x—moving through the fierce feminine matrix of the jaguar—Ik' arrives to blow away the polite illusions. It reminds us that through the nine mirrors of the underworld, every barrier, every self-imposed exile, and every locked door exists entirely within our own minds, waiting for us to stop waiting for a rescue and finally surrender to the truth.

1. The Day Sign: Ehekatl (Wind)
Position: 2nd Day Sign of the 260-day Tonalpohualli (corresponding to Ik' in the Maya Cholq'ij).
Codex Borgia Location: Placed near the foundational panels of the divinatory sequences (such as Plates 9, 17, and 18), following immediately after Cipactli.
Iconography: Rendered as the mask or profile of the wind deity featuring a prominent duck-bill or bird-beak snout (through which he blows the cosmic winds), swirling air currents, celestial breath scrolls, and sweeping atmospheric movement.
Sign Dynamics & Mechanics:
The Invisible Breath of Life: Ehekatl represents wind, breath, atmospheric currents, speech, song, movement, and the invisible spirit that animates all static matter.
The Great Sweeper of Paths: It governs emotional weather, sudden psychological shifts, inspiration, disruption, and the clearing away of stagnant conditions so that new creation can breathe.
2. Patron Deity of the Sign: Quetzalcoatl / Ehekatl-Quetzalcoatl (The Feathered Serpent as Wind God)
In the primary divinatory layers of the Codex Borgia (such as Plates 17 and 18), the governing patron deity presiding directly over Ehekatl is Ehekatl-Quetzalcoatl in his aspect as the divine Wind God and cultural creator.
Iconography in the Borgia Group:
Depicted with the iconic red conical hat (ecacozcatl), a black mask with a duck-bill wind snout, shell pectoral ornaments (ehecacozcatl—spiral wind jewel), and carrying cleansing or sweeping tools to clear the roads for the rain gods.
Theological Role & Cosmic Domain:
The Breather of Life into Creation: Ehekatl-Quetzalcoatl is the divine force that breathed life into the dormant bones retrieved from the underworld, creating humanity. He is the dynamic spirit that moves the stagnant waters and stirs the primordial oceans.
The Master of Invisible Architecture: As the patron of Ehekatl, this deity represents the truth that the most powerful forces in existence are invisible. He teaches that just as the wind cannot be seen but bends the largest trees, the breath of intent (Ik' / Ehekatl) shapes every physical reality, guiding the soul through invisible currents, emotional weather, and the sacred spaces between breaths.
