Medicine

There is a being out there that is for you that is medicine. It's not petroleum (pharmaceuticals) and it's probably not ayahuaska or kambo. It can be a person, but not necessarily. Most of the time it's a plant or flower. Today we come to the time when we can connect with and dream about that being, and when it may manifest that we need him/her.

Plant medicine is very much today taken out of context. We approach it when it's not time, we take it when we don't need it, we are sold on the idea, and we pay no tribute, no abstinence, we wait not and go and pay for it. If you haven't been thinking on taking plant medicine at least in the last 180 days, then you are clean for this dream and this message applies.

Other ways this message can apply is if you have abused plant medicine lately and your medicine is the wisdom of realizing it. Lastly, we will find the greatest medicine in a group. That's the medicine we all need, the coming back to the group, to the tribe, to communal living. Very little do we realize how much medicine is found in other people, when we allow ourselves to open up and mutually heal.

Remain human.

The snake wanting to please her natural, righteous intent, praying for her needs, finds the code of elevation, transformation, growth, shedding the skin to become, over eternity, feathered, enlightened, transformed: it wants to fly. This is the trecena to do it, or learn from it. This self elevation can cast its shadow, the higher the dragon flies, closer to the source of light, the larger this shadow is. We can learn to fly without casting a shadow, and we want this. When we forget about others and live a life that is all so good for us and not for anyone else, then we may be elevating a bit too much above what is being human. At the same time, we must come down from celestial expectations of behavior and understand the confused existence we are having, the dark portal we have opened and must face; we need to learn to be adults and not steal ourselves from others because they behaved the way they did. We need to act in fair trade, but not shame or blame eternal cause on others. Today will lay the wise way up. The snake can climb too quick and unwisely and crash easily, it's the ego, and it hurts when we hurt it because we make it climb to where it will fall. We can be real jackasses and it's wise to accept it.

Today's human, today's nahual is speaking, telling us to keep it together, keep it real, keep it good. Are you helping others? Or are you just fending for yourself, as some sleazy snake would. Words and language can get us confused, please try to take my point. Today will remind us, if we listen, to become better for others, and that of course doesn't mean stop seeing for yourself. As far as yourself goes, Nawal Ee says that this is a moment to shrink your diet, your chase, your intake. If you are able to keep this advice, the rest of the trecena and what lies beyond will be favorable to you. The dark portal is growing, and it's causing us to fade away in some kind of machine non-existence. Make sure you show spirit that you are still human, you are still there for others, you care, and you do your part.

Your Map.

Inhabiting a reality where not everything can be predicted—and where there is always room for surprise—we arrive at the wisdom of Wakxak'ib Ee. It heals us with the realization that there is no perfect map, no flawless structure, and no complete book that can guide our unique paths as humans. The closest you can get to such a guide is creating your own. Everything external is merely a sign; we must treat it as such, not as a command. Direction must be birthed from within, and from us alone. Unless you are speaking to your nawal, seek no direction from others. Dare to step into your life as your own navigator, the captain of your own vessel.

Any map you follow will eventually lead to unmapped canyons and obstacles meant only for you. Use existing maps, but do not take them as gospel. Walk looking forward, charting your own course, understanding the territory you tread, and following your heart toward the best route. Today, we are being absorbed by virtual maps and simulated realities that we take for granted as truth. We learn from books more than we do from our own observation—and this will lead you astray.

A time will come when you must experience things for yourself rather than reading about them. You will need to go somewhere on your own, following your eyes, chance, and randomness instead of the directives of a device or a book. Only if you allow yourself to step outside of what is already mapped and written will you find true wisdom and life. The Path, the Ee, is both the road and the traveler. It represents the journey of life and the teeth that grind down our experiences into wisdom. It reminds us that the way is not something you find; it is something you leave behind as you walk.

To honor this nawal is to practice radical self-reliance. In a world addicted to GPS and algorithms, choosing your own direction is a revolutionary act. Today is a day to put down the manuals and look at the actual horizon. Your nawal doesn't speak through a textbook; it speaks through the dust on your boots and the intuition in your gut. Wisdom is found in the off-road moments where the trail ends and your life truly begins. Stop trying to find the right path and start being the path.

You will always walk with me in my heart, GW.

¡Aloha!
