Self image.
It quite grabs me by surprise to hear Nawal N'oj want to speak about self image, but it makes all sense. Normally you would think of N'oj as the humblest and noblest of all, but beware, it still is intent, a very advanced dragon, or snake. Found within the I'x trecena, this is I'x's point in the process where it pays attention to its image. That should be big amongst wizards, it's big with cats: they will act normal and even try to look good to deceive potential enemies, even if they are in pain or in trouble. Looks natural but the are acting. Acting then is important. Self image though is far more complex that just acting, it's a reference for everything. Many wizards and many N'oj people may dare to play that they are not acting, that they are being transparent and as straight forward as an arrow. But don't we all, think that. Acting then is not about faking it but about standing up to the role, and this world, this land, this caban, is a theater where roles are necessary to play life.
Yesterday's let's be shanky wanky may not be the best example to how you want to play your role. Good thing there are days for everything. Today and going on forward, paying more attention to how you appear to be to others will play a vital role in the outcome of your coming day of harvest. That doesn't mean you have to let go of those loose pants you wear while in the house. Far deeper than that, today's be yourself, let yourself be personality finds the elegant way to see with more clarity your own image, understand what it means and why it has its magic.

Nahui Ollin, the four movement, today's combination, was highly praised and represented by the Mexica as one of their main and most revered signs. It represents balance and order within movement. If we look at earth's geological history, we will see that that there are strong evidences that prove that in the deep past, the weather, the earth's axis and even the poles were different. Only until the Holocene did the earth enter a new stage of equilibrium, where the axis doesn't wobble as much and the seasons and eras don't fluctuate as much, making the weather diverse, balanced and stable. There is a video being researched for and prepared that will air in English in the Native Journey channel about this, the why's and the how's, hopefully I will finish it sometime before the N.H. spring.
Meanwhile it is relevant to mention that there is a strong tie to this earth balance and today's nawal. Caban, N'oj, can be sometimes associated with earthquakes, shaking, destruction and violent change, and that, we can sometimes forecast for a N'oj day that combines with another numeral. But the number four is N'oj's best representation as what it normally acts like: an orderly, grounded, sincere, noble and straight forward character bound to create life, movement and love for others.
Nahui ollin is represented in the center of the sun stone, the Mexica's or Aztec's most iconic image (poorly confused with or called mayan calendar) and it's there because central to the Mexica worldview was the idea that they were living in the fifth sun (sun in this sense means era, age), which was a sun of balance where mankind finally was in order with the cosmos, bringing it reverence and offerings (sacrifice!) as the past four suns and their civilizations, represented too in the sun stone, where destroyed by cataclysms because they forgot about the creator.
At this scale, we must hope and do what is necessary to keep this balance, it came to be and it is there for a reason. Beyond that, on the surface of this balanced earth, whatever we do to destroy ourselves is very much secondary and a lot less scary. Bringing this energy home and to people, the combination can sometimes seem a little "fascist". I forgot to mention that the nahui ollin is the symbol for the movement of the four elements and thus the swastika known by many ancient cultures. As an energy that seeks to put order into what has become deviated, ground and join everything so that it all turns around together as a unity, this energy can sometimes show this aspect of being a little bit too orderly and tyrannical. There are unsolved human paradoxes lying here. How do we all come together and move around a pivot so that we don't destroy each other?

The spell of the lady and all her might have taken us through the integration of the shadow, and the cat asks herself, how do I overcome it. When in the shadow, knowing how to ask gets you answers. The answer then appears in the belly of the lady cat; she is now bearing life. This transforms the wiring, the mind of the I'x, as no longer will she predate on staying in the dark forever, being the object of desire—she must now go out and see for the life she is bearing. She is no longer the entertainment of the freedom of individual isolation; she now must make her desires secondary and come down to earth to flow in the cycles of right relation.
Right relation is the consented order all life moves around in order to make life ordered, excuse the language. Life on this planet is distinct from life on different layers or dimensions; there are apparent rules—"of physics"—that are followed, an apparent time and space continuum that allows the creation and movement of stars and planets that create cycles on this earth to which all life is attuned to, feeds from, and requires to be alive. Life is order we can say, a self-conscious order that mutates and evolves so that it can let in—give—more life.
Right relation then is the allowance of other life to live alongside us, it is the community that sees for each other and is conscious that everything done or not done affects the other beings, not just oneself. It is the level of consciousness that is hard to reach because to reach it you must come down, to where we evolve to understand that life is not about ourselves and our own selfish desires, but about the desires of others and the greater good of the whole. Right relation brings a natural order of minimalism to the way we live. It is the hard to come to understanding that we own nothing, not even our bodies and the life we are given.
Entering right relation today is almost impossible. This is because we live in a system based in a bad relation with life. The benefits of a bad relation are all the things you own, or that you think you own, great part of the pleasures you enjoy and all the complex amenities that make the absence of a right relation bearable and enjoyable in life. Within the Cholq'ij there was a space for wrong relation. This spell that began in the I'x and culminated in the Ajmaq, and that might find some resonances in other days throughout the cycle. But as you can see, it didn't last long, and from this brief shadow comes this solid understanding of what we are here to do and how we must behave, taught by today's nawal.
This doesn't mean that by reading this or that by going through this day you will find right relation. When you choose to go that way, it turns out it may take a whole revolution of mankind to get there, because we are in a time and space where if most live in wrong relation, then those who live in the right relation get to suffer the impact from it. They can either resist and dedicate their lives to push it through, like some of us do, or we can simply give in to the dark side, as most people prefer. The spell and the pleasure of the shadow are far too good, and the burning rays of the sun in the light are far too demanding.
