No word or advice should be taken as a blanket term, we are not cursed as me make ourselves believe we are. We get stuck on fear, and if not punishment, the idea of debt and the exercise of debt, the feudal system we so comfortably inhabit. Illness and bad spells strike us when we think they are there for a reason, because an impossible purist-moralist expectation is imposed on us and the only way of being humans is to break that, to be bad, to sin. We break the law or we break someone's expectations, but we can very hardly remain loyal to what is required for us to be so that we remain debt free, in both economic and spiritual senses.
Our actions have immediate consequence on our surroundings, we are our surroundings, and we must learn to discern which actions are actually harmful and which ones are liberating, that task can get confusing.
