Bad magic
I'm going to take the opportunity to talk about bad magic, not meaning todays' combination spells that precisely. The mayas did that in the postclassic -forecast malefice with many combinations- seems like they became obsessed with their own predictions, which would be ever more so catastrophic and negative. Modern Toltec practice frees us from blind loyalties to legacies of the past, allowing us to be the continuation of such legacies but without the negative. All this negativity we are treating today, with the protection of the number eight and the continuation of our offering and purification, is strongly related to the enemy of power, of which we shall learn thoroughly in the Toltec practice course.
Power combined with clarity will lead us to the small dark cave of being impressed with our own forecasting powers. We have all been there, and I know that many of you readers are no longer stuck there anymore. You can so easily see negative things in the oracles and then spelling them out, putting our attention onto them is what brings them into existence. It's the negative power of ignoring our power to say no to that view, understand it's just a reflection and understand that it is finally our mind: where we choose to lay our viewpoint, that brings into existence that view.
Understanding freedom releases us from the burden of getting stuck in power. Easier said than done. Freedom is not attained until we simply let go, of our loyalties and attachments, and we find the bright us that stands beyond the doorway of our limitations. Crossing that door releases the process of healing; healing touches on those things that are hurting from which we part to use our powers, our knowledge of magic, to do things that make us feel better, because we are hurting. That's the key I will gift here today, about bad black cheap magic. One, the cheapness of casting it, the limitations it brings.
