Initiation
An initiation is not when something begins, it's when something that is not here and we want, continues to manifest in time so we can begin to allow it to be here, to come into existence. Now I continue to begin to understand why today is celebrated as the beginning of the Chol qu'ij calendar and not on the beginning of it, 20 days ago, the Jun B'aatz day.
Great things are on their way, and we have finally jumped timelines to make something great happen. I was feeling great yesterday, but last night, I had to face the most terrible energies, entities, feelings and dreams. Where they came from or why they appeared, I am yet to find out. But I see the relation with time, with the fact that we are properly manifesting this initiation of humanity into a new timeline. That should be exciting and we are surrounded by the light, but we are also going to go into full darkness. What will happen with the world this year, on this Chol Qu'ij cycle, is kind of dark. We really are in for a troublesome year, not for us, but for the world that must continue to undress from the sheets of the no longer tolerable and enter into a stage of true evolution. This all begins today.
Join me in this remembrance and prayer. As a symbolic initiation of your knowing and counting of the days. Let's connect with the Mayan elders of the Guatemalan Highlands by lighting a candle and saluting the four directions. Let's gather in this time and moment, to begin the path towards the completion of the great cycle.

We are here gathered to celebrate along with thousands of Mayans in the maya lands, the celebration of the Waxkxak'ib b'aatz, the day that the Chol qu'ij sacred count is celebrated. Twenty days after the Jun B'aatz, the day when the count actually begins, the number eight spells enough integrity to actually understand what we are doing and what are we celebrating.
This title is kind of like a thesis, one that I have barely a few minutes to write here with you. Like most advices given here, they are not really of my making, the work here for me is to be a channel to the messages that come from the great mind. I was very thrilled as these words came through when I was seeking today's message. Very much like the other best messages, the title is self explanatory, it can be dragged onto details and examples, but it pretty much contains it all.
We are caught in two webs, one that holds the fabric of creation, and the other of our own artificial making, quite literally the world wide web. From the first there is no escape, from the second there is. Every single hint, day, advice, is a piece that brings us closer to that, there is no other progress possible. Time is conscious and it's taking us somewhere, it's not a clock that simply marks certain moods and events that come in a repeating cycle that has no meaning. That is the hardest thing to understand about the mesoamerican calendars, and probably any other mystic calendars, is that they are not marking anything, they are a map to the expansion of the consciousness, and in these times, that means untangling ourselves from the www.
Yesterday's nawal taught us that we cannot attach mind expectations to the heart, that any guideline is to be broken, and we cannot think that breaking them is breaking the heart. The heart knows better and if we allow it, it can find the way better than our minds. That ties into today's advice of the impossible quests for meaning and understanding. Explanationism cannot be what brings us together. I am still to ask, and I feel with my heart the answer will come in the coming days: why are we so attracted to finding the cause of phenomena, why is it something we as humans are willing to invest all of our lives in, all of our time and energy? Why are we so attached to having to find a single cause for what we experience? Are we trying to artificially create it? Because it could be that there is none. I myself have found my mind trapped into extensive journeys of research of the answers to why. Today's nawal has brought me as close as I have been to the answer, and the answer is the deep mystical nature of today, no wonder they chose this day to celebrate the whole cycle. Deep down, you are what creates the universe, not in the way that you shallowly choose to say whatever, but in the way that you choose to dig into the truth and into understanding the nature of our lives and creation, and find answers. One answer takes you to the next, you dig deeper, and you can spend your life doing that. Each answer is a marvelous treasure, but that is incomplete, there is always a why behind it.
If we were to understand that at the bottom lies a wakxak'ib b'aatz, then maybe our quest could be over and we can harness the power of that and start using this knowledge to build a better world, a more loving community. It's what follows after you have chosen the path of the heart.
