Magic
A cleansing Tooj trecena left us with the purity trecena, Iik, currently at its climax. We feel blissed and blessed, happy and joyful, it is quite a beautiful time within the sacred cycle. Our prayers have been answered and our magic is working. The body and our health have been making their reminders, and today we might overstep that balance and find that is part of the equilibrium too. My example was the mosquito last night. We had few hours to sleep because we had to get up early for my son's soccer game this morning. We would have been fine, everything would have been perfect if that one mosquito hadn't been there taking our few hours of sleep. It wasn't any mosquito, we are not foreign to them, but this one for some reason had quite the skill to buzz in our ear, not bite us and simply screw up our rest.
Today we are all tired because of that, but my morning prayer helped me understand that things like these are part of the balance and the magic. The body is constantly pushed to overcome inconforts and toxicities, and that keeps it strong and healthy. A life filled with stardom, art, beauty, travel, love, will leave us without eating, getting spined, dehydrated and sweaty in the forest, without sleep; and that takes our bodies past their ideal balance, yet, it is the balance, it's the magic of living life. A life bondaged by comfort, without aspirations, extreme goals and challenges, is the gateway to cancer, depression, and general decay.

Much belief do we give to the idea of a reciprocal magical universe that keeps accountability for the actions of all. This is no drunken vision, it's what we perceive all the time happening. Nothing is lobsided, everything is balanced. Half the reason something happens is because of cause and effect, the other half is mere chance, and you wouldn't want things to be another way. Keeping randomness in the universe gives us mathematical certainty and free will. Within this randomness, patterns appear and they are the sign of intelligence acting. The acts reflect effect and accountability for the invisible energy invested.
We are advised by the nawal of today to keep our focus in ourselves and our own actions, if we want to harvest anything. Trying to keep accountability for others, judging and weighing the "deserved" effect of their actions is not for us to account for. We sometimes do end up involved in how the "debt" is collected, but we should try to avoid this. When we project our intentions, we apply the same logic to "whatever is out there". We then expect this "god" or "universe" to return us with the favors asked. The communication is key, but we can work a lot on how we perceive this otherness. God, if you want to call it, is no greater than us. He/she is learning too, with maybe a little slight advantage.
"It" is paying attention not on what you want, but in how he/she can improve to be a better "whatever it is". You should do the same, especially if you have a relationship with it. Do you treat "it" like an equal? Expectation is a great issue, even amongst human relationships, because it projects inequality. "It" is also trying, and maybe can't meet your expectations, just like another human. We are invited to shift into seeing the effect instead of the cause. When this is achieved, we can perceive that everything happening is an effect of a previous cause set in motion. We are always harvesting what had been planted. Pay attention close enough and you can follow the rabbit to what is actually happening and going to happen, and maybe this will save you from dropping out of the sky because you were living in your faint cloud of expectations.
Accountability.
