7 Aaj

Stand up, preach.

I have been asking myself what is the point of "using" the nawals to preach about a return to nature story as the main story. I see a very undesirable effect of preaching or even intending to preach about anything one may think is the best way. Walking the path, doing and being the best way of course is the way to do it, and we've been doing it, not all, but some. Preaching and writing can have so many similar traits. Writing comes to a point where you've said plenty and going beyond is going where only silence is better. Yet you are not going to stop writing. Why am I doing this I ask myself and today's nawal answers. Preaching should not be repeating the same message over and over, it should be trying to understand the other's language -even if you speak the same language- so that you can communicate what you have learned and find a way to engage.

Engaging then should be the natural thing, getting the message through clearly and finding a way to join forces is the natural path of a social human being. Today the scale is tipping where human beings today are becoming unable to engage with each other if it's not mediated by a centralized and digitalized mean. And even through those means, human beings are becoming unable to really sum forces, organize and find a common-wealth. Yes, reclaim a common-wealth would be a way, taking back all infrastructures, tools and materials from the hands of those who really control them from the top. But we have seen another way. Strategically learning to communicate so that this message comes through and we can come together as a humanity and reclaim ownership of our future, and our present, our lives!

Naturally like you have read, standing up and preaching, leading and not giving up is a very inherent energy to the masculine sign of Aaj, who's exalted and empowered like at no other combination like it is with the number seven. They like each other. This can open strong opportunities today, or otherwise strengthen your "touched-bottom" default state. If you're feeling down this nawal will get you back up. It will give you naturally the will power to get doing and get doing before and better than ever before. The effort to do and the effort to find help to do are fueled by this amazing guy. He understands that in this earthed world, this trecena, success seldomly occurs at the first try. There is a lot of power in persistence and persuasion, and it has been so misused that we might be wired backwards where we completely avoid standing up and preaching for what is right.

Petty tyrant.

The watery and airy soothing half of the Keej trecena wears away as we enter the fiery and earthy second half. Issues and situations begin to surface and it's time to put attention to them. Humanity has been pushed to a situation where only a drastic catalyzing event can spark the extreme creativity necessary to bring together everyone into the single intention to end corporate tyranny and all the suffering and nonsense produced by it. To make this happen, we must recognize who our nearest tyrant is and get into right relation with it.

Modern Toltec practitioners have had a very interesting practice that I'm still to add to the Toltec training. When in our quest for freedom, dealing with our own inner tyrant mind is something you need to build skills on, and understand the nuance and the reason for its existence. To do so, practitioners would temporarily find themselves a very bad job where they would be oppressed and subjugated by a boss, as a way to build strength and awareness on this. After a few months or years working there, they would quit, and with the release of the external tyrant, the inner one would transform as well.

Keej, the deer, gathers the four Batabs, the four pillars of the cosmos, carriers of the elements. Just like we must love and flow, expand and enjoy, very Jupiter to western astrology; there is also fire and earth: retaining, grounding, giving and being measured, very much Saturn like. Balance is key. Today's masculine Wukub Aaj teaches us in the sweetest way possible about the crucial need to keep ourselves disciplined, measured, having limits and being rationed about everything we do. Putting yourself into an uncomfortable situation is necessary for there to be comfort later. There is no way around this.

When you are in a path of Toltec liberation, inner and outer tyrants get metaphysically transformed into balance keepers. Being in the path then means, you have said: "no more" to the big, unacceptable tyrant. Today's energy welcomes both situations, putting healthy limits within yourself, accepting the tyrant in your life and being in right relation with it so you stay disciplined and in balanced growth; and putting limits to those things, ideas and people who might be unacceptable tyrants in your life. If you understand this then you will be able to come together with everyone willing to end world tyranny once and for all. Anything else is a deception, says this, your petty tyrant.

¡Aloha!
