Connecting the different sacred sites and energy portals in the Mayab, the maya lands, existed paved straight roads called Sac Be, the white road. To the south, the Khapac ñan, the straight road, served the same function connecting incaic wak'as and large population centers. In both cultures these roads with practical purpose had also a spiritual and moral significance, the straight road, the white path, the path of purity, straightness, of doing and being good.
Today we look to get off all the roads, for they have been laid to take us to the structures of slavery, disease and destruction. And so we are faced with the dilema of breaking rules, curving to avoid the traps and yet finding straightness and solidity in our lives. Big reason why so many dare not stray away from the paved roads that go to the malls, universities and the doctor's appointment, 'cause there they have a solid, clear path to walk and were to be seen, admired and considered to be "on the way".
If we get off this road, we risk being treated like scum, we have to get our feet dirty, go off into some forest and try to find our way through the brush. Hidden beneath the brush are the ancient stones that made the old sac be roads. We can find them and follow them. That's why you are here. We need solidity, principles, guidelines and lines of ancient knowledge to give direction and structure to our lives. What these lines and structures can achieve is ultimately the practicity of bringing us together over a solid ground and guiding us to a real straightness and well-being. There aren't many other options really. Straight way to heaven or straight way to hell.
