Harvesting time.
Nothing ever goes as planned because we live in the starlight of time, where energy appears from nowhere and everywhere because of this phenomena. Light lessens the entropy yet time allows for it to exist, if we budget it, we couldn't account for what is happening. Science and even top of the line, latest astrophysics and cosmologies are only skimming the surface of something they will never be able to explain. The language of explanationism, of logical rational axiom 1, of mathematical congruence is revealing until we expand further and try to explain or understand with it what can't be explained by it. We attempt at quantifying through math a universe that is spawning from otherness. As we finish making a new model, something new appears to exist, and models are just maps, not the territory.
Applied this knowledge to our lives we can expect to be surprised and relieved that life is by nature unpredictable, and that our efforts, even those that appear lost in time, are not, they sum into the probability of chance. New realities are being born and parallel dimensions spawn from every event. Unpredictability is guaranteed. We are wasting time using our quantifying minds, trying to explain our emotions through reason, trying to make magic from fixed recipes, trying to predict time and outcomes, and trying to explain what is.
