Health shaman

We like to journey into long trips into the Eagle, constructing pyramids of thought, memories of what we think, our identity and all the stacks of knowledge we've been piling on us. Are we there yet? says the body. Ask him the answer. Today we are bound to be sensitive to the flesh and bone messages we are getting from our bodies. Our bodies are a vessel for these journeys, they will respond to our beliefs, yet all that knowledge we've been packing is worthless. Our body is a shaman, it can channel and speak to other spirits, it's who we should first be listening to, not telling it about all this bs health knowledge we apparently get. Sometimes it will ask for what you think is unhealthy, and you will deny it because your knowledge thinks that way. I'm not talking about the craving, something deeper is there, where our body simply knows better. If we can summon our own body's shaman, we can get all the answers we want. But then the answers are honest, they don't go with what our mind is trying to elucubrate, it doesn't fit into the story of who we are trying to be.

Contemplate.

When we are active in the medicine way, our hearts and minds are attentive to where we can help, awaiting the opportunity to give our love and attention to that which needs it. It turns out with the years and the cycles, as we learn, that a world in chaos, as much as it needs our love and attention, it is highly intolerant of it. We would like to help and intervene, but spirit clearly shows that we are not to, that we must allow the processes to unfold. The greatest help we can provide, and for ourselves too, the greatest way to achieve balance, is to follow the signs where most of the time our help comes from just being there and watching, contemplating without acting. This is highly unpleasant and highly counter intuitive to the intelligence of our hearts. It does however show us how what apparently is inaction, many times is action. Our presence, mind and awareness changes the outcome of a situation. Just contemplating and being there, ready to help if asked, is many times more effective than intervention. Today's nawal brings about this lesson and wants us to find peace and balance beyond the anxiety produced by following this advice, as it is natural that we feel anxious to participate.

¡Aloha!
