4 Tz'i

Looking back is looking forward, what you have spent, given, is what you are due to gain. When you seed, you harvest, when you help, you get helped. The line of what is your freedom and how that affects others is not clearly defined. There is a cultural relativity to how hurting something is or isn't. Because of this we cannot ever escape judgment, authority, mediation, justice and compensation. What we think are complex human-only social dynamics are woven in the fabric of organic life itself. Just like fruits can be similar and yet different, human cultures can be too, and their lines of what is right and wrong. Being inclusive is not being homogeneous, neutral or even universal. Lack of cult is lack of culture, and the idea that we can be without culture is an anti-culture, not a culture-less culture.

Getting all mushed up and blended around has it's effects. It's time the liquid settles back to the new cultures, the new ways that get created. Humanity will not become homogeneous and so it cannot stay homogeneous, no matter how hard we try. That's not good for business, especially the business of those who profit from erasing culture to replace it with plastic over-culture. For so long we walked this way only to turn around, but if we don't we'll be stepping over the boundary of what is wrong. Regardless of what you choose, choosing to do nothing is choosing they way of injustice, because injustice is the satus quo, and the status quo is criminal.

Today's tz'i is here to teach us the just measure of the righteousness consciousness we must acquire and cultivate in order to continue forward with the onset renewal and cleaning brought about. Staying on time will require you to check your feelings and your ways so that you can be more active in being fair with everything that you do, or don't do.

Sacrifice.

The dog is a nawal that is in charge of seeing over our material reality, how we perform, live and thrive on a living animal planet, as animals that we are. It takes care of us, makes sure that we have shelter, food and protection. The living paradise our mother earth is has its savage side, its wild side, it's not that it's inherently dangerous and seeking to harm you, but it is real enough that if you are careless you can get hurt.

Living in an incarnated reality has to be integrated into whatever path of shamanic, spiritual or magical path we might be into. There is new age confusion about this, supported by consumerist commodity capitalism where you can unrealistically buy anything even if it's realistically not something you would naturally have access to. Shifting timelines and making spells are childish to the dog who is more worried about very down to earth things you are looking over and distracted from in whatever you think your craft is.

On this time planet, time is limited, we cannot get everything we want, simple is. We must choose, and that choice means sacrificing other choices, other things we also want. Understanding this today can be extremely powerful, because it is the means to get somewhere. When we attempt at manifesting all of our desires at once, they jam the funnel of time, and nothing happens. If we can focus on one, realizing this is a material timeline we are walking and where we want this to materialize, then that thing will come true. It helps if it's something close to us, attainable.

Sacrifice then is the concept of wise choice. The mother dog kicks away the weaker ones in the litter to let them die not because she is cruel or mean, but because she is wise, she knows that is the way for the stronger ones to make it. By no means project this as a metaphor of current psychotic transhumanist eugenics please, it is not a parallel. For us sacrifice must mean a wise choice, focusing our attention on the attainable, on the realizable, on what is here and ahead. Messing with this in your head might be the programing that continuing to work for money is the only realizable and attainable thing, and in that I would advise to wisely choose the other dogs in your litter, the more creative and adventurous ones.

Today's nawal opens my mind to understanding that ritual offering, represented by yesterday's nawal, is very different from sacrifice. Offering is prophylactic, it is done as a way of gratitude and of reciprocity for the blessings we receive and will receive. Sacrifice is reactive, it is the necessary letting go of something so that another thing can prosper. In this confusion we have bestowed the worse conceptions to our non-western ancestors, projecting our dirty western minds onto them. They are, still, the source of the greatest wisdom.

¡Aloha!
