When we were little we understood something very clearly. We wanted to do things, no matter what they were, as long as it was in a sweet, fun and exciting way. Then came the adults with their adultism and started squeezing our sweet juice trying to make us do things in a way that wasn't sweet and fun, that was uncomfortable, forced, unpleasant. They told us it was responsibility. The very little sweetness we got from doing these things was seeing our parents and society happy, we were behaving correctly.
As we made ourselves "grow up" we learned to not savor the sweetness of life, of enjoying doing things in our way, and learned to be pleased with the fact that we were doing things "correctly", "as expected" from everyone. That became our only sweetness. Today comes to remind us of this, that this is not the way. Something will probably happen that will show this to you. My advice is that you choose and find the way to live in a way that everything you do, you do because you truly and deeply wish to do it, and that you find ways to do everything in a manner that is fun, exciting, and healing, even the dishes.
