Short trip

Some have been given fixed settings. They belong somewhere, they are where they belong, they have seen the trees grow and the people age in the same place. They have witnessed the erosion of stones in the monuments and remember the seasons and their variations. Others have been moving around, changing from place to place. To them, the passage of time is the passage of the road, of the process of a life journey.

No matter how fixed you might be, we are all on a journey: the earth itself moves, the clouds, the birds and the animals. Human fixation is an interesting phenomena. From it we can gain great insight; if you are able to tolerate the stillness and the staleness, great secrets will reveal to you about the underlying causes and intentions that have led to what you are seeing. You can become a wise man from this stillness, and still, you need to go on short trips to gain perspective, to learn to appreciate what is here.

No thing can be known from its own vantage point. Every place relates to another, time itself is not still, it doesn't make sense but as a passage, what happens one day doesn't make sense until it's viewed from another, and as a story, as a development of a story line. It seems like it's only one, but it's many. Seems like there is only one present, but no, there is no outer now, no single story for all; rather, there's a diversity of individuals and the inner flow of time through each one of their lives.
