This is the only day I have found that in the last cycle did not get a reading. It was the day after the group parted from Mexico City after the Water Healing Retreat and we were returning to our city Xalapa, reason for which I completely missed writing a reading. Let's hope the nawal is not offended, and no, in fact it's part of the reading.
Commencing our journey through the path (trecena) of spirit, it is a sort of continuation of what begun with the Tooj trecena. Tooj took us to clean our homes, our bodies and our minds, like entering a sweat lodge, we came out purified, our offerings given. This process continues as we search for the sacred message that must come after the cleansing. We seek to keep what we cleansed clean, our bodies purified, we don't want to go back to the previous state, we want to stay this way as long as we can. Iik then tells us that we are to intensify the process, it doesn't stop, we must continue achieving a more clear state.
As a first (or second) stop in the process, we are invited by today's nawal to look into what is missing in our lives. First we must recognize it, embrace and understand lovingly what it is that we require to continue our path. Once we understand it, we are to make peace with the absence of that. Embrace the fast, come into peace with the current state of we don't have what we need. This is crucial for the hunger and desire for what is missing can lead to a vicious cycle of compensating with substitutes or being in a state of toxicity because of what is missing.
Today's nawal speaks of how what is missing in our hearts, in our lives, in our planet, is the great shadow we must overcome. Evil is nothing more than that. Lack of love, lack of balance, lack of life and natural intelligence. It's like a long shadow that passes and as it does, it leaves what it touches cold and hurt, hungry and dying. We are at the end of the great eclipse of the ending of one era and the beginning of the next. What will really happen I will dare to say only if there is a supportive quorum where to leave this prophecy. Otherwise may wanting to know be another fruitful need that is in us and that defines us through today's nawal.
