The Shadow of Freedom

A great shadow we are often trying to avoid catches up. It changes and destroys things in your life, and remains a shadow as long as you don't shine a light into it. Be patient, don't run away, face it and walk into it. As soon as you do, you will realize, it's there for your own good.

It seeks to liberate you. Be loyal to what brings it, honor it, understand what is here to teach you. It's here to take you where you want to be. You cannot be full if an undesired authority reigns over you. It's undesired when it doesn't have your best interest in mind. Think about that, and follow the shadow, it will lead you to your fullest light.

Free leader.

The path to protecting mother earth is achievable only by surpassing the social fragmentation imposed on us, which means that we must be able to create or join communities. The do-it-yourself by-yourself model is the capitalist model. If you have money, you can buy land, build an eco-house and be suelf-sustainable, and all you will be is an eco-capitalist. Defending the land means being more ambitious, defending a territory, integrating a community, weaving with other communities, becoming warriors; we've talked about that and this website is filled with information about it.

Communities are not possible without leaders. Overwhelmed by the great shadow of tyranny, we have to face that shadow, as mentioned in the past 11 Tz'i day (above), and either become a leader or make a leader, it's up to you. A true leader will never take us to tyranny, because a true leader's goal is freedom. These concepts have been used before by politicians, so let's not get confused, let's not shy away from the calls of true leaders and ultimately, of freedom.

Breaking your story

We have been raised by and with dramatic stories, with our lives and hearts intertwined in them. Some of them are familiar and personal, others are of creation and of creed. The older the stories, the more fantastic they are, yet they are the only reliable source to know where our moon came from and what our purpose in this planet is.

In this day an age, we came upon the black mirror, this machine and this method of scientific corroboration. This new system is helpful to revise the stories we tell and ask, are they true? At the same time, this same black mirror can be used to create all kinds of new fantastic stories, this time with a "sci-fi" ingredient to them, where they are argued and seem to be factual, though they probably aren't.

The story built around the story-destroying scientific narrative itself gets to be revised and destroyed. The more we know, the more fantastic in fact we discover our reality to be, and the more plausible the ancient stories become. They are not really just stories, they are a record of history.

Today the combination resonates with this process of revising a story and making it stand the test of being true. In our personal story we are invited to recapitulate our past and to compare it with what we tell ourselves in our inner dialogue. Is there congruency there? We are invited by spirit to discover that what you told yourself about your personal story, was just a story. The same facts can be woven from a completely different perspective. This change can be from sorrow and loss, to growth and gratitude. We can begin telling our story as adults, not as abandoned children anymore.

Doing this requires breaking our hearts. Because we are attached to the story, our identity, our feelings are intimately linked to the way we've been narrating our story. If we want to stay as is, fine, do nothing. But if you want to grow, one way to do so is to allow yourself to feel the heartbreak that comes when you choose to no longer feed onto a story of pain and grief. The thing is, it is not true, if you analyze it closely, the story that hurts you, is never true. The heartbreak is just a temporary letting go, and that always hurts. But your true heart, your true story, is what is buried underneath all those false perspectives and overly dramatic narrations. Let today's nawal guide you there.

¡Aloha!
