Rubbing yourself

Today invites us to take a look at the importance of getting what causes pleasure, and what happens when that is not available. The web of needs is set and now it grows into the knowing that having a bit more than the just-get-by necessities and eat more pleasure, is ok. Not just ok, today's nawal speaks of the vitality that it is and how not understanding it will lead to slavery. Pleasure must be accumulated, then released, as in sex, there is a balance, and today's combination understands that as well, as we come (cum) to the end of the trecena. So it wants to share about the fact that we live in a system where we are dazed by the illusion of freedom and pleasure, but where in fact we have very little of it, or at least less than what our appetite calls for. A strong, bonded, intimate community has been replaced by a narcissist virtual race. A temple of profound learning and growing has been replaced by a pyramid system of academic corruption and manipulation. A human and all-the-living-beings wellbeing has been replaced by a system of toxicity that finds the most elaborate ways to trick us into death, disease and poison. A life with natural pleasures, free and meaningful sex, leisure time, rest and nature, has been replaced by work, solitude, emptiness, depression and stress... and a little piece of vacation.

The list goes on and I don't need to go over it all. You get my point, and this is to point out how a project to free ourselves from this system is a project that has our pleasure as the center and important driving force to make it happen. Suffering will be replaced by pleasure; simple, convenient trade. Outside of this circle of medicine, the lecture may be interpreted differently. In a worldview where this freedom is not possible, we are unavoidably bonded to our suffering, enslavers and way of life, then surely it means the release of pleasure and desire as a way to reach wisdom and peace. Death, will be tomorrow.
