Self impairment

Unavoidably we run too fast and trip over our own lack of paying attention. We fly off and land bad and here we are today hurt and impaired to do the things we wanted to do. This didn't actually happen to me today, and maybe not to you, but it is a metaphor of what today's Nawal represents. Eating too fast and choking, so many examples. To me, knowing this is a well learned art, and it seems like the more grown you are (I prefer this concept for age instead of "older") the better you get at avoiding this kind of thing. If that is your case, where you have this well managed, you might still see some obstacles appear in your current projects. You probably have learned too, if you are grown, to calculate for it and not even then will you see obstacles.

Victorious from yesterday's power struggle, today brings about the immensity of the other things, what cannot be calculated, what is outside of your spectrum. The only wat to take it is slow and humbly. Things outside of our control and scope will always be there, will always come, and in abundance. It's part of the community. My cat jumped and landed on my balls and there is nothing I could have done about it (this did happen today). Beware of this, and let the universe surprise you. Learn to find a way so that you are not the one impairing yourself, just the unseen. Learn to store energy for what will come that for sure will take it. Or rather, learn to impair yourself so later when you are not doing it, you have resistance for what will do it for you.

Shallow.

Being alive keeps us busy. Just getting around house chores and feeding ourselves, maybe taking care of our bodies, can take most of our time. Then there is work and recreation, and the many projects you may have embarked on. Today we may feel we are barely staying afloat; we must feel good about it because we are being strong, we are pushing through. The little time we get to the special things that are not crucial, but that take us somewhere, is gold. It may feel and might seem shallow when we do them, or when we see some one else doing them, and it is, there is so much more to do, so much better it could be done and so much deeper that we could go. Being that the water has been dammed, the lagoon where we the crocs live is getting smaller by the day. Not just that, since it no longer has running water, sediments, algae and all kinds of nasty things are growing in them. As crocs we are wise and resilient and are able to stay alive by staying close to the surface. There is too much staleness deep down right now. Be tolerant to your shallowness and to that of others. If you can go deeper, then you are fortunate, you have found a pond with source.

Today's energy can be productive and at the same time we might just choose to lay and rest. There are teachings about allowing, about less is more, gain comes through loss, success through inaction; it can teach us about not moving the muds deep down so that we don't ruin our own pond. There is a survival factor to being in this time we cannot disregard. Being shallow is a way to still be here. If we can flow with this, we might find profound transformations and benefits that come about through apparently small or shallow actions and projects. This croc can teach us about mastering the trecena of disguise.

¡Aloha!
