Finding the way. Off road
Our ideals are a great guide. They can guide us to where we want to go. We get lost when we confuse them with reality.
Walking off the main road to oblivion -the path everyone is born into, the human cell factory- is great, few dare to do it and it's definitely the start. Then, what happens is that each one goes making and walking their own path. This we must allow. For the time being, reality, the human path of now, shows us that we cannot idealize others, and cannot force anything to become our ideals. Our ideals are a guide but we will become lost if we are unable to see where we are walking, which is a world and a situation far from ideal. Once you realize where you are and where you want to go, your present moment is then perfect for you to start walking.
Many come to realize one ideal is to come together from this main road we've wandered off. We recognize that humanity must find its path once again, and that means walking together. Doing so becomes a great challenge, the closer we are to the main de-humanizing road, the easier it is to have people walk and stay together. When this happens, some notice that those doing it are not really making a new road to a new place, they've just widened the same road. If they are strong, they will wander off once again, even if it means going alone. If tired, they will give up and think there is no other road possible.
Today's Nawal's advice speaks of letting others be and walk their path. Speak to them through silence, be quiet, don't respond to their offences, let them see their wrongs, don't be swift at imparting justice. Don't get worked up by what others are doing, even if it affects you. Be patient, resilient and use your energy to build on your path and use other's negative example to see what it is in you that you can change. You will be surprised to see that what works you up on others, does so because there is a great deal of the same still in you. Use your energy to clean that. If everyone gets their shit together, we might just find each other in our own nice little wonder-off paths and end up making the new, definite path to somewhere else together.
