We can explore discernment today around this, and may get a teaching from life. To what extent and measure do we include ourselves without harming other's interests. Making others happy is as important as being happy oneself. Explore the nuances here. If we are completely selfless thinking of others and exclude ourselves, then that becomes a worse of an ego. If on the other side someone is doing that for you, you will also feel incomplete.

Meanwhile we get another teaching about productivity and our addiction to it. How fun are things really when they become obsessive?

Finally we may fall into a power struggle with someone else. All in the light of love. Making a sacred space to talk where emotions are left outside, and rationality can guide an actual dialogue, not a yelling of opinions, is crucial.
